Hi all.
Sorry been MIA. Have been reading but not always time to reply.
Wow lots to catch up on. It'll have to be quick as I have to go out in 20 mins!
Monica shew hey! Baby growing nicely now

They grow so fast in the last couple of months I think its 200grams a week!
Re the date movement - the 7th is a Friday. Personally - Kaylee was born via csec on a Friday - the biggest problem is the weekend not all specialists are there all day, baby and mommy checks, and especially discharge day (Monday) is extremely hectic as a lot of the things are left for the Monday which makes for a very stressful departure.
This way, you'll be home on the weekend and can relax at home

Sounds like you've made very good progress on your preparations to date! Please post pics!
I'm trying to take a calcium supplement at night but keep forgetting. If you can find one with calcium and magnesium even better.
McKim thx for the giggle about your ballroom dancing

Luckily you can attribute all of it to being pregnant! I am super clumsy lately! I even broke the toilet seat on Saturday night!!!
Re breastfeeding / formula tin - if you have to buy a tin, buy only one. You dont know if your baby will have allergies etc. Nan is safe. Lactogen is the 'cheaper' nan. I honestly dont even know all the brands. I never bought any formula cos my thinking was that I could always arrange a tin to be bought for me very short notice as they sell them everywhere.
I also had a csec - same as Elamsmom - and my milk came in on day 3. But the colostrum is meant to do the job until then. Their tummies are so tiny that 5mls of colostrum per feed is enough in those early days. I would say to just demand feed your baby ie not to time it. Some hospitals insist you feed 3 hourly regardless of baby's demand of it. But unless your baby is ill or sleepy cos of pain meds during csec / labour, I would say let your baby tell you when he's hungry and feed on his demand. This is the best way to stimulate your milk supply as your supply will increase as he demands it and your milk will come in accordingly. I would also encourage kangaroo care while you're in hospital when you know its coming close to time that baby would wake for a feed, put him on your bare chest and cover with a blanket. He will start finding his way to your breast, and is a great bonding experience and great way to stimulate your milk supply.
Re the pajamas - I found in the hospital just a tank top (if you can find a breastfeeding one even better) and then your normal pj top over that. You can lift your top without your tummy getting exposed, and just pull down the tank under your boob for feeds, and up again when done. They have the breastfeeding ones at fancy maternity boutiques but they are way overpriced. If you can buy normal ones from anywhere or look at Mr P - and go to Storm in a G-cup they can convert it into a breastfeeding top where the front clips off the strap.
And for homewear - I would invest in a couple of carriwell breastfeeding tops for bed time. They are really nice and you keep warm. But for daytime - same as above.
Belaine oh no that's a bummer

I hope he cooperates soon!!!
Glad all coming right at home re baby's room.
Zoecat how did the new maid work out??? It's really hard to find someone you can trust these days.
Re weight gain - I am a bit scared to get on the scale, and gynae's scale is so different to mine. I've picked up something between 3 - 5 kg's to date which I'm super thankful for. It helps that I lost 3 kgs in the beginning, so total weight gain is a little more if I take that into account, but overall I'm so far happy as I am 40kg's over weight! Lol Zoecat if I had to loose my excess weight I'd be losing one of you

I gained 15kgs with Kaylee and only lost 12 after birth (9 straight away). So if I could keep my total weight gain under 10kg's and lose 12kgs I'd be super happy!!!
Re heartburn dont even comment!
Add to that pregnancy insomnia and pelvic bone pain
