And so its Monday again! An extremely cold Monday in Gauteng! Wish i didnt have to get out of bed! And been down with the flu all weekend, my LG and i have it so bad that we had to go to the doc on Sunday morning: her cough was sounding like a seal barking. Luckily we went when we did as the doc said there was phlegm in her lungs... And we were bot promptly put on antibiotics Its called Zoxil - anyone have any experience with it?

@Bondelq - shame hun, luckily your doc is sympathetic!! I have heard ASIC is almost equivalent to Vomifene... WOW! A free scan - you lucky fish!! The pics are awesome hey - glad to hear all is going well! As for the holes in our stomach - i agree toast is one of the few things i can handle!

@Leabella - i envy you!!!!!!!!!!! Was really hoping this pregnancy would be different to my first, but no such luck!!

@Nadia - i am so anxious about our first scan - i even dreamt that i was having TWINS!!! That took the smile right off hubby's face when i told him about my dream (Although i would love it)

Happy Friday to everyone!!!!!!!

I haven’t been able to log on this week as I was sick in bed. Morning sickness got the better of me and luckily the doctor booked me off for a few days. He also gave me ASIC and although it doesn’t take the MS away completely it does help a lot. He also did a free scan (can you believe it) and we got to see our little gummybear’s heartbeat. DH was so emotional he just kept squeezing my toes all through the scan .

NicoleH – Congrats on your BFP, I hope and trust it will be a sticky bean!

Leabella – No MS? You lucky girl!

TandiM – GL with your hectic weekend!

Kelz – Hope you get to see the little heartbeat soon. When is your scan?

Snoeki – GL with your long trip, I really feel your pain because at this stage I can barely manage the 3km’s to work and back.

Anthea – I also have that deep dark hole in my stomach where everything disappears to. Luckily I found a tuckshop close to work that makes the yummiest tomato and cheese toasted sandwiches. Toast is basically all I can stomach; my doctor even said that my baby will be born with a piece of toast in one hand.

Nadia – Congrats with the twinsies! So exciting!!!!

Juway – Shame girl you really have it bad. My SIL also took a plastic bag wherever she went. This started after a very embarrassing moment where she couldn’t keep it in any longer in a grocery store.

I found out 11dpo that I am pregnant. This will be my 3rd pregnancy, my first 8 years ago was text book, had a beautiful baby girl. Last year I fell pregnant and ended up having a missed-miscarriage. Decided to wait awhile before ttc again. After 2 months of trying I am pregnant Of course now the worry and concern is starting.. Will I miscarry again?? So stressful. I went for Beta Quant test 14dpo - 249 and 16dpo - 701 so its looking good. My main concern now is I have hardly any symptoms. I am tired, sore bbs and achey back - thats it?? With my dd I threw up for 3 months straight? My Gyne appointment is on the 27th and the worring/waiting is driving me in sane!
