January 2013 - Baby/Mommy Club!

Hi there ladies!

Glad to see you are all well and suffering the same symptoms as me... I know we shouldnt complain but dam its difficult!

So we also had our 32week scan yesterday Morgan is growing so well - weighing 2kgs already!!!! And is right "down there" - pushing on all sorts of new nerves in my back this time... Doc suspects she's pressing on a nerve cos it pains right down the back of my leg almost till below my knee... But thank goodness all is well with her... He showed us an awesome massage technique for the back whcih relieved so much of the pain!!! Just thankful that we too, are on course for natural birth, especially with her right there!!

AFM - we are FINALLY in our new place!! Thank God for an awesome nanny who worked late each night to help us unpack - especially with me being so useless! We are almost boxless, and this after moving in on Thursday! We are finally getted started on the nursery for Morgan, and Tristyn's room is done!! I am attaching pics of the rooms - the yellow will have the Winnie the Pooh decor too! And i got my feeding chair

Next doc appointment is the 21st... and then we will be 35 weeks about...

Oh I finally did baby shopping!!!! Couldn't find everything before exhaustion point, but only a few things left. LOL my son "modeled" the baby's clothes for Daddy. Have no idea where he saw it, but he would take each item, hold it up against his chest facing Daddy and go "Daddy, baby dress"..... LOL I'll blame his nanny, there are many girls there by her home ahahahahaha...
Oh and when he names body parts... "nose, lips, eyes, hands, baby"......that's for stomach

Wow cute Cherikey, our EDDs are close by our babies might just share a birthday...

Had a not so nice, but nice week last week. Just couldn't make it to work, there was too much pressure it felt like baby will fall through my bum. That always leads to backache and sore hips and trouble taking each step. I was at home since Tuesday, that's the nice part, enjoyed not having to wake up and get ready and stuff. So ya, 9 more days at work, finishing next week Friday. My bosses are men, totally don't understand, they had even asked me to come in for a few days in January when I'll be like 39 weeks cos my other male colleague is on leave....so had to get Drs backing to leave work at 36 weeks.....sad, but ke I've got my leave now so all is good, can't wait to go home and forget about them

Going for 35 weeks now....am more confident I'll make it all the way....

Hi Ladies

Just got back from doc and all 100%.. BP normal, baby heart rate normal, weight sitting at 2.3kg's... So all looking good for a natural birth with EDD around the 12th of Jan.

baby_love - yes I have my c-section booked for 3rd of Jan - are you also going to c-section? very cute pic of you with your LB

cherikey - enjoy your Dr appt!! did they give you pic's at your 4D scan?? did you enjoy the expo - I definitely did when they were in CT (much better than previous expo)... spent lots of money

I had the 4D scan done at the expo over the weekend & our LB definitely has dads toes, lips & nose... (like his sister )

I've also got a doc appointment a little later today, hoping all is still good. That's the last of my travelling this past weekend. I plan to stay home till baba arrives!

Tracyo thanx! Jip I am also nervous and very excited. Are you going for a c-section?
