@ Cherikey - same thing here! Even while i am asleep that bile will rise up into my throat - uuurrrggghhh!! WRT the bag - if you like it - go for it!!! We havent been able to spoil ourselves much the last few months - everything has been for baba!! Is it a a JJ Cole Bag you looking at?

And then on top of all the aches and pains - i am not sleeping well at all I have to get up about every half an hour to pee and even then the sleep in btw those stretches is just not quality sleep!

@Snoekie - thanks hun!! We also had ours at a restuarant... and its costly hey! People can be so inconsiderate - and these are supposed to be the family and friends Good that you are preparing everything in advance... Rather take it slow than have too much to do at the last minute.

Please tell me the best place the baby new born?

Sorry to hear that some of the people didn't pitch for the baby Shower. I had the same thing with my baby shower in Cape Town. What had me Fuming was the fact that my mom booked a restaurant and paid for their food, so she wasted quite a bit of money!
I am glad that you had fun with the people that did show up.
Your pictures look beautiful, and FYI, I don't see any stretch marks...

I am cramping up quite a bit this morning, Braxton Hix are really letting me have it today! Other than that, I am reallly good. Just tired. Had a busy weekend. We are having a family gathering over christmas and on Christmas Eve everyone has to bring snacks to share, so I made Spinnakopittas and tart cases for my snacks, so that I have less to do closer to the time! I still need to bake the cake for the petit fours that are going into the gift boxes.

@Anthea, i hear you... Had a very busy weekend myself and am exhausted today. The braai was good, just tiring... Friday night we had 8 ppl & 6 kids around. Then Saturday my LG and i went to a 3 yr olds birthday party where i stood for 2.5 hrs (now my feet are killing me)... Then got home & hubby decided he wanted to go out to my mom & steps dad farm. This meant an hours drive there of which the last 20 min's is on a dirt road (bumpy bumpy) felt like i was going to deliver there and then! Sunday morning we came back & headed the other way to Hillcrest to have lunch with my dad & his wife... Got home around 4 ish and was passed out by 8pm with aches & pains everywhere...

@Anthea, what is it about the heartburn all of a sudden... Mine has gotten really really bad again.... I burped yesterday & all that burning stuff came right up, it was awful! Sorry if that's TMI....

Although i have several baby bags in my cupboard i'm DESPERATE for a new one.... It's rather pricy & money is very low at the moment, but really want it!!! I'm i too greedy to want another?

Hope you all had a good weekend?

How was your braai Cherikey? Not sure if you felt the same as me but i am just not upto entertaining people anymore. Having my in-laws around, as much as i love them, was draining hey! This weekend overall was long and tiring, had my baby shower on Saturday, and even though people RSVPed to say they would be there half of them just didnt pitch! But we had fun with the ones that were there and were thoroughly spoilt again... then we had a braai at our place in the evening, till about 1 and had to be up at 8 to sort the house out before going out for lunch! Can do with a day in bed hey - all that up and about has me in serious pain today (Down there)

I actually used Nexium before falling pregnant with my LG in 2009, and my GP advised that i should stop it... i Battle unbelievably with heartburn, am up to Rennies and Tuns every hour almost - no matter what i eat. I never thought to query with it my gynae though - definitely gonna phone him today for a script!! Thanks hey

At SMA - How has your shopping been? We have been so blessed with stuff - only really need to get my stuff for the hospital bag now - want to pack our bags this weekend too!

AFM - i go on annual leave from the 20th of Dec till the 7th of Jan, then i am back for a week and a bit before my ML starts on the 15th of Jan... I cant wait anymore

How did the braai go? I would probably still be in bed after having people over.

Hahahaa he's turning 2 on the 19th... He has always been so sweet, that's getting me worried hey, hoping Tamina will be the same ... When I visited my parents and slept over, in the morning Dad said he forgot there's a 2 month old baby in the house, it's too quiet. He was really a breeze, so now my friends with daughters are busy scarring me that she'll be a drama queen ahahahaha.

Oh ya it's finalized.....finishing work on the 14th....yeay!!

It's my son's 2nd birthday on the 19th......totally clueless on what we'll do..... And he's so good to me lately, he comes to me and says "tired?...sleep sleep" then he goes and plays with Daddy . It's amazing how he's now really asking Daddy more for things and keeps on telling me I'm tired and I need to sleep. If Daddy kisses me or anything, he says "stop it Daddy" hahahahahahahhaa

Oh gosh Fridays.... I'm literally waiting to knock off..... And I'm working tomorrow morning , but only till 11...
