Love that changing station Cherikey! I am sure your LG will too hey - a great idea! So did you get the costume at Makro too?

@Tracyo - that place is awesome! So glad you also got a swimming costume! At least now you can enjoy your weekend to the fullest... Some of the swimming costumes are a bit funny looking - which one did you get? I am sure your relationship will settle with your daughter around 25years... give it time hey... I was 19 not too long ago and can remember well how i rebelled against my parents....

@Melisue - thats great we are so similar in our pregnancies hey And that you had natural first time around too... Did your daughter arrive on time? My LG arrived at 38weeks on the dot, and really hoping for the same this time around - FX, FX!! And a big baby is so much easier to handle hey - they are alot stronger! My LG was 3.06kg's birth - still a bit on the big side compared to most and she was as strong as an ox (thanks to all the Rennies, milk and milkshakes... and vits!)

@Tazzy! Beautiful pic The wonders of mother nature hey - that we can carry such perfect beings within us No acne on my side... i too have heard that boys "make you ugly" - pimples and carrying funny etc...

@Juwayraj - i think God everyday for my supportive hubby! He is really a Godsend! Can do everything i can do for my LG except breatfeed We have had him getting up at night for LG should she want one of us, and now only calls for Daddy at night: the rationale is that my turn is coming with the new one... I agree that without his help i would have gone off my rocker long ago...

Oh my word Juwayraj I am so happy for you!! You are so lucky you dont have to take out a tooth - I was worried about that cause its really awful! I took stopayne every few hours for a week after having a tooth out but Im a big baby

I remember I got a newborn baby when my sister was born, I loved it!! U get real lifelike ones now and can change nappies etc -brilliant gift for your older kiddies!

We had our 4d this morning - wow!! What an awesome experience - our little munchkin was drinking and sticking his tongue out - too cute!! He was hiding though behind my placenta but still managed to get a few cute pics! Still cant believe this perfect little thing is growing in my tummy!

My due date is also 28th Jan

Does anyone else have bad acne? OH my word, u can play join the dots on my face - its terrible!! Apparently boys give you pimples???

That changing station is TOO CUTE for words. I really like it. And if your LG is so attached to her own little baba I think that will make a great gift, especialy if she can copy what mommy is doing.

@Snoekie - I am sure hubby will get a bit more interested as the sessions go along - mine was totally freaked out by the epsiotomy - was just too much info for him - Enjoy the new nappies - i also got some at the baby show this past weekend - a bit nervous about it as we did the disposable nappy thing last time - will give it a good go... Lucky you not having too many aches/pains!!!

@Anthea - I have a 19 yr old daughter and I really hope she and I will get on better once she has settled and has her own kids.... at the moment our house erupts in explosions of emotion... frequently - also wanted to tell you I got a swimming costume at Makro - had a good laugh trying some of them on though - we are off to the Citrusdal warm baths for the weekend - I cannot wait!!!

Juwayraj - yipppeee - glad it went well at the dentist!!! yes thanks for the tips - I will be very sensitive to my LG needs and will definitely make time for her and include her!! I too would love to meet up with the mommies in Cape Town

Juwayraj.... shew, not sure how i'd cope if they'd want to distract my tooth...

Yay, got myself a new cozzie this morning. Was so nice to go shopping without my princess whining in the backround rushing me along....

I also plan to get something for my little girl. She already has a doll that is her baba & takes her everywhere & has a pram & cot for it. I just saw in makro they have this adorable changing station for R400 and i'm serious considering getting it for her. It has a changing station, all the products, a baby bath, food, mobile, the works...

What do you think?

Hi everyone

So sorry to hear of all the aches and pains... Not nice but not much longer!
I keep reminding myself this might be my last preg so I need to try and enjoy it

Also BIG hugs to all those missing their moms / family members - I can imagine how tough it must be and it can get a bit lonely when you need someone to understand.

So funny, my 4d scan is same day as you 19th and at appt yesterday baby also breech at the moment but doc also not too concerned... we got time and I also had natural before so things still look good. (and we both have same due date still 28 Jan)

AFM - Booked bed yesterday, another thing done at least! All is well with baby, weighing in at 1.4 kg so far so we looking at around 3.2 kg at birth more or less.
My first baby was 2.5 at birth and I was full term! Needless to say nervous about having a bigger baby
