How do you get your dischem bag? do you just go there? Baby City is actually the most expensive of the lot, even Toy R Us are cheaper!!

Back from my 4D scan. Was lots of fun. But this baba is definately his/her father's child. Just as stubbourn. Kept keeping the arms infront of the face. We mannaged to get a couple of nice photos, I am attaching them.
Baba is weighing in at 1.163kg. That meens baba picked up 150g in the last week.
Other than that doc is really happy with the progress and both our health.

I thought i'd share... So i started some baby shopping today & started with price comparisons first...

First i went to baby city & then to Dischem. Dischem was cheaper in everything i was looking for even the bundle of nappy bags that BC do when bought individually were cheaper at Dis. Things like bottles, dummies, breast pads, etc were cheaper. Some by R5 cheaper and when it's R25 at BC vs R19.90 at Dis, that's like a 25% savings and you get points...

I also picked up my Dischem baby bag today and it's a really nice bag. Not too much in it, but great vouchers for R's off and extra points on certain products. There were a few samples as well as big sizes of nappy bags and a few other items...

Too much of excitement starting now!!!

Ooh Sorry, I was wrong. BamBoo Nappies are based in George, in the garden route.

I have read up on, studied and googled the crap, so to speek, out of cloth nappy brands. The best reviews and reasonably priced I could find was the BamBoo nappy. They are also locally produced. In Natal.
The nice thing about them is that each nappy is the nappy, soaker and booster, where with a lot of other brands you need to order everything seperate. The other thing I love about them is the double gauset to avoid runny poo getting out. They don't have so many different kinds of prints, they ony have 7 different Pastel colours, but that is fine for me...
