My scan is only on monday - the 12th. got a whole long weekend to wait. i really want to know the sex now.

Jeanine, this is really cool!!!! I thought I would ask DH to take a video clip of the sonar!!! Hehehe so funny that you say baby looks like a little blob I can totally see the little arms its really cute!!!!

Marley when is your scan again it should also be around the corner?

Wow jhb and other areas are so much more advanced than durban in scan and baby technology - where you can get videos on legs moving. thats amazing JeanineK. all i got was the internal scan and to hear the babies heartbeat (the heartbeat was amazing though). But even if i compare other areas scans to mine they so much more better than durbans. I wish i had recorded the heart beat with my phone. not sure if they would allow that though. i bet they wont be able to tell the sex on the 12 weeks visit even if the baby is positioned correct.

just quick update from home: scan was great, got to hear the heartbeat
Baby measuring right on target, moving around - was SO cute to see!!!!!

Photo just shows blob will upload tomorrow - but got a video showing baba kicking legs and waving arms.

Wow so exciting hearing a heartbeat for the first time. it makes it all real i think.

Well i have a similar situation at work - they are all suspicious and ask me why im wearing pumps to work and not heels (i normally always wear heels)

My main boss does not know yet - he does not work by me - he visitis once a month so im waiting to tell him so keeping it quiet at work still. dont want someone else telling him and id prefer to tell him in person.

It is quite annoying been asked so directly like that - when i get asked indirectly by ppl commenting on my appearance i also just make what ever up - im not a good liar so i always giggle when i say it but they dont know thats what i do when im making something up.
