Afternoon Ladies'

JeanineK so excited for you!!!!! I can not wait to hear your update!!!!!!!

Mrs_tl so cool that your line has arrived :)

Marely I hope that you had a restful weekend.

Hi to all the other ladies, hope your Monday is not to bad.

AFM: doing well no complaints counting the sleeps till my scan T- 3 sleeps hehehe. I had such an awkward experience this weekend. I was helping out our church bazaar over the weekend and when I went to buy some coffee one of the ladies at the coffee and tea stand blurts out in front of about 6/7 other people. So are you pregnant???? I was mortified and did even know what to say so I just looked at her and turned around with out answering. then later she again pushed the issue ( does this woman not take a hint ) so I said no I just getting fat. My DH does not get why I am so upset but my point is she put me in a position that I was not comfortable in. If she had pulled me aside and asked I probably would have told her the truth but it was just to tackles I was really upset!!! have any of you been in this position or are most of you open about the fact that you are pregnant? I first want to see a heart beat before I announce anything....

Morning ladies,

Hope everyone had a good weekend! Marley, I had the same experience with SATC - crying during that scene as well..

I saw my line!! I was talking about the line with my husband and we looked and there it was.. faint but there. Mine is only from my navel downward and not above yet.

Hope you all have a fantastic day.

Good morning ladies.

Thanks for spreadsheet JeanineK.

mrs_tl i also experience the weepyness during movies and im not a big weepy person normally.
when i watched the first episode of the new season of army wives i cried from start to finish but it was a very sad episode. was also watching the sex and the city 1 movie yesterday and started cryin during that scene when Carrie slaps Big over the head with the bouquet after he stand Carrie up at the wedding and ive never cried during that scene before.

Havent noticed a line yet - i was watching holly madisons E! tv special last week - where she was giving birth and i noticed a long brown line from above the belly button. my DH and i still asked eachother whats that - we thought she had a scar but now i know what it is.

Anyways have a lovely day ladies

Hi there all, sorry I've been quiet but for some reason work is crazy. We're also moving house in a week and a half's time so our house is currently a collection of boxes and packing paraphernalia.

I do read everyone's feedback though. I am so happy for you and your brother, what an amazing thing to share as a family!!

I use all kinds of oils and lotions at the moment, from Body Shop's Shea to Vit E to Bio Oil, not sure if anything will help but at least it makes me feel better ;)

My insomnia is not showing any signs of easing up so now I'm just getting used to the red eyes and constant yawning.. I couldn't find any natural remedies that is also FDA approved (I'm a bit of a research nerd when it comes to that). Even Valerian Root is not 100% safe as far as they are concerned. Everyone talks about warm baths and so forth but for me, it just helps for me to be very clean as I now bath twice a day but nothing for sleep..

I am however extremely weepy.. My hubby and I watched Star Trek the other night and I started bawling about the story... Anyone else with that?

Are we definitely getting the line? I haven't seen one yet..

Thank so much for the spreadsheet Jeanine!! I have copied it (without your permission) as I also want to keep track.

Izzels, where are you going for your Fetal Assessment? I went to the Pretoria East Hospital clinic and it was a fantastic experience.

I used tissue oil the last time (mixed in with aqueous cream), it actually worked real nice - but i think i got lazy towards the end.
Also, went overdue with a BIG baba, and the silly things literally popped out in the last week before i gave birth.
I complain, but they are not really that bad - and they did fade quite a bit, to thin siver lines - but no idea what they will look like after this new baby...

Hi Jeanine, yes its that dark line. My sister said she only got hers late in her pregnancy so I don't know. Did you use anything for stretch marks the first time round. I have made peace with the idea of getting them but I would like to minimize this to the best of my ability so I am rubbing Vit E oil in the morning and at night but think I want to try a she or coco butter as well?
