I had a very interesting call yesterday. my gynie broke her arm and will by off for 8 weeks. so now they have a substitute gynie 2 mornings a week.
my appointment moved to 27 Nov with the other gynie.
it feels a bit strange to go to another dr. I have in my whole live only been to this 1 gynie
i will see how it goes, but if I don't like the other dr i will skip the january appointment and wait till my dr gets back

Goggatjies, glad that you are feeling better today.
i think you should make a regular date with yourself, just to find yourself again. at least 2 times a week a take a very long bath, i light a candle and just enjoy my own company and it does wonders for clearing my head.
(keep in mind I do not have any other kids)

regarding medical aid, maybe you should first find out if a new medical aid will take you while pregnant.

Wina, i quickely read up on braxton hicks and i didnt think you could feel that so early. but i think a had them very early this morning. was a very strange feeling for me

Glad you feeling better Goggatjies. I think you should still take some of Jay's advise and relax some more. How far are you now?

Pregnant fairy and Hasie we have a whatsapp group and we chat on there as well. Sometimes it just has easier access to everyone at any moment so we sometime share things on there and because its not our place to share the news on here, you might find some comments that you might not know what is going on.
You are more than welcome to join that group as well.

I am feeling much better today, I think the kids just got to me and I was a bit tired. DH got home early last night, so he helped with the kids and that helped alot.

Still waiting to feel my baby move - hope that happens soon.

Gogga i think you need time to yourself, even if it's just one day. Ask your mom to look after your kids for the weekend and do nothing except to look after yourself and get hubby to do the run around. Even fake backache so he prepares everything for you while you sitting in front of the tv or in bed. Every now and then i pull that stunt, so he he takes care of our son and i can catch up on some sleep.

Today is not a great a day, it's just one those emotional days after last's news all i want to do is cry.

Hi girls! Dr confirmed that we are expeting another boy!!!! Oh dear....2 boys! We are very happy that they are going to grow up so close to each other. Luke is turning 2 years old in March next year and baby is coming in April. Daddy is already thinking of all the camping trips, Newlands trips for the rugby etc. Ha-ha!

I'm 31 years old and my hubby is 29 years old. So I'm trying to convince my hubby that in about 3-4 years we can try for a girl. At the moment, hubby is not impressed with that idea. He is worried about the finances and that we would not be able to afford 3 kids. But we will see. I really want a little girl as well.

Going to put the mirena in at my 6 weeks appointment after the birth of baba. Do any of your ladies have any experience or comments on the mirena?

Also I'm currently on Discovery (LA Health) medical aid, but thinking of moving to Bonitas. They have very good maternity benefits. 12 pre-antenal appointments at your gynae that's separate (not going off your day to day benefits) Any comments/recommendations?

Then we are still deciding on a name. So far Dylan is the nr1 choice, but daddy must choose this time.

I'm also very tired, ladies! Sjoe....
