Hallo Twincesses,
I will also be delivering at UNITAS and my gynae suggests between 20 and 22 weeks to book the bed and so on.

Morning Ladies,

jinxedsa - Glad all is good with your little boy. 17th September is just around the corner.

Gain-A-baby, I have not started with my UIF forms, I will be making use of a company but haven't decided on one as yet. I have given myself until the end of June to get that sorted. I don't think its too early.

Ladies, I need help. Last night I started writing my lists for hospital for both baby and myself. I must say I am more confused now than I was before I started writing it.

Do any of you have a list that you would share.

I have so far:

Pampers new born 1 pack
Cotton wool
lotion small
Bum cream
Aqueous Cream for bathing (I am not going to use baby soap)
wet wipes
Babygrows x 3
Vests x 3
Booties x 3
hat x 3
Receivers x 3 / 4
blanket

ME
3 x front open pj's
3 x bra's
3 x full panties
slippers
gown
going home outfit
shower gel
toothpaste/toothbrush
hairbrush/hairband
roll on
maternity pads
linen protectors
towels
breast pads
socks
mirror

Have I left anything out?

Hi everyone

It's so good to see everything is going well with everyone.

Went for my scan today. Baby boy is growing nice and big.
EDD has now changed to 17th September. But Gynea is really happy with the progess.
Also booked my hospital bed and 4D scan today, that will happen on the 9th July, can't wait.
Feeling like a great big hippo and walking like a duck and have a nerve that's pinching in my back. But otherwise it is all good.
It's truely an amazing journey, and with every scan it just becomes more amazing.

Mum2Be - Thank you for the links, I will go through them. I remember now I registered with Woolies Little World as well.

Giggles - I logged on to Discovery now, to triple check what I'm covered for at that hospital with that gynae and it showed "full cover" I will have to follow up with all the service providers to check though, there's always something to pay. I know what you mean at dischem there's just so much to choose from, I know they have specials on nappies so will probably go for that to cover the R300 quickly. Clicks BabyClub: Double Points on selected baby products and selected clinic services for babies, triple Points on selected Clicks branded baby products - no freebies I'm afraid.

When I tried to register online at Dischem it wouldn't work, had to print the form and physically go to the store to hand it in.

Has anyone contacted a UIF company yet? Is it too soon?

Mum2Be - great to hear your 20 week scan went well.

I will collect my vitality bag this weekend, hopefully, if I have the energy to go. Will let you know next week Monday, what is in there.

Hi Everyone!
I did my 20 week scan yesterday and it was so amazing. I just love seeing my little ones in action, even though the build up is terrifying. All is good with my boys and I got to see their faces!
Gain-a-baby, here's a cost breakdown for mediclinic- its last years but Im sure the prices havent jumped that much. The rest I guess you'll need to get from your gynae. www.mediclinic.co.za/patients/Documents/...0Schedule%202013.pdf
You can also sign up for Woolies - Little world, follow this link www.woolworths.co.za/store/fragments/wre...?content=littleworld
Has anyone received their Vitality bag yet? I'd really like to know whats in there before I register.
Thanks for the tip Giggles, I'm registering on Bennets now!

Hi Gain-A-Baby, I am also on Discovery Classic Saver. My gynae gives me a breakdown of her costs. And I will contact the Paed and Anaesthetist to get their costs closer to the time. For my daughter I was on the same medical aid plan and had a huge shortfall amount that I had to pay from my own pocket as they all charged over and above the medical aid rate; this time around, I have a GAP cover that will cover all those costs.

I have not chosen a Paed as yet, that's on my list to discuss with my gynae next week Tuesday.

What benefits do you get from Clicks Baby? I have also registered with Dischem Baby and need to spend that R300 first before I qualify for the bag. I went to Dischem this weekend and couldn't decide on what to buy!

I have heard that if you register with Bennetts on their website, you will receive a sample pack with all their goodies. I have registered with them and not received anything as yet.
