Hi Ladies,

How are all of you and baba's?

I went for my appointment last week Tuesday, all is well with both baby and myself.

LB is 700grams, C-section will be scheduled for the week of the 15th of September.

I booked the hospital (Netcare Parklane), bought the hospital bag and did some shopping for the baby bag for hospital.

Welcome NewMommyCPT - always great to have a new mommie on the forum. My boy is due in late October , for me that's still very cold so definitely getting 0-3 months long sleeves and warm goodies....Best to go half and half though or mostly warm goodies as even December is quite windy in CPT.

welcome to the forum! Im also a new mommy and I have the same issues but being in Cape Town last year it was still wet and a bit chilly well into the November and this year seems to be so much colder. The advice that I keep getting is dont even bother so much with newborn-just get that cute coming home from hospital outfit but then focus on long sleeve/winter 0-3 month items and summer items that's 3-6 months. They say babies outgrow newborn items within days. Im not going to be buying the thick winter items though, long sleeve vests and leggings and towelling rompers will be okay, Im guessing. Any advice from the experienced mom's?

Hi everybody,

I am new to this forum and going to be a mommy for the first time. And I need your help.

My baby boy is due 6 Sept (planning on natural birth), and in CPT it is definitely still going to be cold. I have no idea what clothing to buy my little one, and as a result I havent bought anything yet.

Do I buy newborn winter or 0-3months winter, or summer? I am just so confused.

I've decided to go with Sweet Dreamz UIF - purely based on referrals as well.

I'm feeling him move around lots lately! Hit the 20week mark last Friday and we have the detailed scan on 20th June **super excited** to see my boy again.

Hope everyone is warm and well.

Tomorrow is my scan, can't wait.

I picked up my Discovery Vitality baby bag yesterday. Not impressed with it at all. I received better items in 2010, when I had my daughter.

I am on leave from Wednesday, going to book the hospital, do some shopping etc. Get stuff in order at home. Hopefully I will find some time to put my feet up as well.
