Super super super bloated tonight. Was fine for the past week with that but had loads of raisons today. Apparently its very good for lots of reasons during pregnancy. And nice for snacking too.

Nadia im counting the days. Just want to see see see. I called the dr like 3 times today but no one seems to be cancelling.so ill just wait i suppose.

Natsvan haha i also feel like that some days. Sooooo forgetfull but i think for me its a normal problem...

How do u all still fit in normal clothes even when bloated? I havnt put on my jeans since i found out. Just to tight...maybe all the eating as well.

Oh boy, pregnancy brain has set in, was running a bath for my Roo (little boy called Ruben) and couldn't understand why the bath wasn't getting full, might help if I bothered to put the plug in!!

All I can say is my pants are not fitting anymore, it's either bloating or a sign i'm eating too much rice crispies! Can't wait to get back to my amazing weightloss plan called breastfeeding!! I lost weight quickly with breastfeeding but I guess having Roo permanently attached to my boob helped a lot!

Joans, haha that sounds like a perfect job! Would love to be able to stay in pjs all day I'm not showing yet. With my first preg, I only really started showing at 5 months. Will probably show earlier but for now, happy that I can fit into my normal clothes! Albeit very bloated!

Hello everyone!

Almost weekend!!!!! Can't wait to sit back a bit. phew!

Natsvan that sounds hectic, 4hours drive probably isn't ideal, but I guess if it makes the birthing experience better its probably worth it. Online shopping is actually pretty cool once you get the knack for sizing! Its just really convenient when there aren't any shops that have what you want nearby.

Is anybody starting to show yet? My clothes still fit fine, and aside from lots of bloating I seem to still be exactly the same size. But soon!

Nadia I teach from home, I skype call students in France. Its pretty mice freelancing from home as its flexible and I can stay in my pjs and eat when I want to which is nice oooh I will defs check out the woolies factory shop in parow, thats quite close-by for me, yay! Thanks for the tip.

MommyMe I feel your pain with the smells. I can't take certain smells and I smell EVERYTHING. Even walking around in Canal Walk is a challenge because of the way people smell. yuck.

Also so sad to hear about baby girl passing unimaginable!

Morning all mommies

I can hardly feel my fingers while typing, need to get gloves the weekend.

Had to stop at KFC this morning for a toasted sandwich, was so hungry, (oh and some cream soda of course)

The dr's office called me yesterday, moving my app to the morning as the doctor is doing a C-section at Vergelegen.

Still trying for tomorrow, will follow up again today. Will be really great before the weekend.

Nadia thinking of you and your sick boy, not nice shame and this cold is not helping.

I don't know if you heard but cant get this out of my head. there is a 1 month old baby girl who passed last night, presumably because of the cold. I mean what parent does not keep your child warm, its just so sad.

Joans its def a option to try to eat like that. when I eat I'm fine, just depends on what I eat, some smells is making me feel bleh!

Natsvan at the moment I'm relying on my leggings, ha-ha, people prob think I don't have any other clothes to wear.

Natsvan, shoo 4 hours is long but suppose it's better to ensure you are comfortable especially with the birth experience. It does make a difference. Oooh gonna check out spree!! I'm a shopaholic

For ladies who are CT based, once you start shopping for kiddy clothes, there is a lovely earthchild factory in section road, epping. Also a Woolies factory in Parow somewhere but need to get address for that one again since I was last there with my son.

Hi everyone

I went to our local mall and not one shop has maternity wear gonna have to wait until I go to Jhb on the 26th for my scan. I saw Spree do maternity wear but I'm not to sure about ordering clothes online, especially preggy pants. So glad I kept my preggy jeans from the last pregnancy, I lived in them!

I'm going to be going to Jhb for baba scans and to have the baby which means a 4 hour drive each time, but at least my parents live there so I can have a quick visit as well. I just couldn't face having another conveyor belt caesarean where the hospital fits in way too many c-sections in one day and you land up with irritated nurses who aren't interested in providing a happy birthing experience. The problem with Nelspruit is a lot of preggy ladies from Swaziland and Mozambique come through to the Mediclinic which overcrowds everything. So I will be having nugget in Benoni at a brand new maternity hospital which I'm gonna go visit at the end of the month

Is anyone else struggling to stay warm? My hands and feet are freezing which I don't normally have, very strange. I'm still struggling to eat dinner, I'm not interested in anything which is hard coz I still need to cook dinner for my 2 year old.
