Hi everyone.
I am finally on my 6 days rest from tomorrow, yipppppeeeee. Been working for a month non stop so pretty moeg!
Goin for our scan tomorrow afternoon at 3pm, can't wait, bit nervous, hope nugget is healthy.
I am really struggling with eating healthy, I just look at a lettuce leaf and want to gag (which is odd for me), but chips, chocolates and all things bad are yummy. At this rate I'm gonna be a heffalump by 9 months!
On to some not so nice news. As you know I live and work at a game lodge, we all have our own little houses so get to know each other quite well (some days its a pain to see eachother 24/7!). On Sunday my manager phones me and asks me for the doctors cellphone number, 2 minutes later he phones back and asks me to call an ambulance. I waited at the bottom of the road to direct the ambulance to his house as quick as possible. The ambulance arrived and an hour later I heard that his 40 year old wife just collapsed after a shower and died. Completely shocked beyond belief

They have two kids under 10 who now don't have a mommy and their daddy is in a state of shock.

Been the most draining few days putting together a memorial service for her and speaking to so many people phoning the lodge to find out what happened. She died of a heart attack

What we have all learnt from this is, you need to appreciate every moment you have with your family, work can wait, family is important. Also, get a will/testament together that covers all your wishes and also states a guardian if God forbid both parents die, its so important. Also, do you know each others bank account passwords and things like that, its amazing how much you realise you don't know when someone close dies

Hope this hasn't been too morbid but I just needed to get this off my chest.
Well thats it from me for today, I'm gonna go get out of my uniform and into pjs at 4:45pm coz I can!!!! Hold thumbs for our scan tomorrow
