Hey Ladies

How are all of you today?? Just wanted to share/ vent... Any of you feeling really irritated by your husbands?? I don't know if it's my hormones or what... But just looking at him makes me angry and irritable at the moment

Newbiemom, sorry to intrude here, but I'm so glad I happened upon your birth story, wow!......here's hoping that I will also report back to my group in May that I wasn't in a lot of pain either.....your story sounds like my best case scenario!! Congratulations!!!!

Faffymum - Thank you. Yes, this little one is teaching me patience...I trust that all will happen in good time. So glad that you finished work!!! Awesome!!!

Although all these discomforts can be tough at times I feel so grateful to be able to experience them, it is part of such a powerful experience (birth). With my c-section I never had any of these discomforts since baby was removed at 38,5 weeks - I think I realise now how early she was removed and that she might have chosen to be born easily 2 weeks later.

NEWBIEMOM!!!!!! congrats!!! that's so amazing!!! So excited for you! Thank you for giving us such a beautiful story to hold in our minds when our times all start to arrive. Well done.

Feeling so excited for you all and I can't wait for my turn. Felt some sharp shooting bone achy pains in my butt and lower back last night. Thought it was a muscle spasm from standing too long and then I felt baby moving down and it happened again. Glad to be feeling something. feeling scared but trying to stay confident. My last day at work. going for my 39 week check up at 11am. Feeling good.

StarryEyed - Oh, I totally hear you....Can imagine that must be very frustrating!! It seems as if these little angels have a plan of their own and nothing that we can do is going to interfere with their plans. Glad that all looked good at your checkup. Stay strong!!

On my side, I am leaking clear fluid since wednesday evening. Midwife doesn't think it is amniotic fluid, but rather a watery discharge seen in late pregnancy. I must say it is really watery...have to change sanitary towels/underwear every hour or 2. Otherwise just cramping and braxton hicks but no surges. Baked a cake with my LG and enjoying our time together.

Wow Newbiemom!! Congratulations!!! So happy for you!! So exciting!!

My update... I had contractions 10 mins apart all of yesterday but today nothing... Very frustrating!! I was in tears last night and this morning. Wish something would happen. Seems like my child is teasing me had my 38 week checkup yesterday... All looked good... Doc sent me home and told me to come back when the contractions are close together... But today there is nothing. Not sure what is going on.

Just a quick update! I had a wholw day of contractiobs 10 mns apart on wedn. When hubby got home i was in tears because things werent progressing. Suddenly they were 3 mins apart. We got on the car and went straight through to midwife. When we walked in she examined me and i was 9cm dilated. Got in the birth pool and an hour later our lg was born and it was the most beautiful experience!!! It was so calm and relaxing and i had very little pain, mainly just pressure but hubby and i coped so well and it was just AMAZING!! I feel so blessed. She is only a tiny 2.2 kg.
