Prenessa, do not worry about that, baby will grow into proportion by the time of birth. and they also measure against an average, so it doesn't mean anything when baby is not completely on the average

most places you should book your bed by 24 weeks. you can just take you ID and med aid authorisation nr to the hospital's reception and fill in the forms.
i still have to book my bed as well. my medical aid only gives an authorisation nr at 36 weeks, but i will go do the forms and then just phone me with the authr nr when i can get it.

big hug Ctelly. yes, the 3rd trimester can be a bit brutal on your body.
only just more that 2 months to go. we are all close to 30 weeks now, then the countdown will go a bit quicker.

My gynae gave me the hospital booking forms at 20 weeks pregnant, I filled these in and gave them in at the hospital. Maybe ask your gynae today?

We booked the bed last week (30 weeks) and we get a free 4D Scan ...

Ctelly, i hope you feel better soon. Or at least you find a "a way around" the 3rd trimester niggles.

Prenessa, try not to stress. It's probably just a delay. I'm hoping everything will be back on track in two weeks. Maybe baby won't be quite so shy when you go again.

StellaK, you asked about my chiro app. It went well. The effects were positive but temporary. I have to go every week for a few weeks. She basically applied pressure on different spots on my back, while I lay on my left side. She says I have a pinched nerve and with "massage" she can alleviate the pressure. I really hope so, cause now my right leg goes to sleep whenever it feels like it...

I have my gynae appointment today. I'm so excited about that. When does one book a hospital bed? I don't know why, but I'm soooo excited to do that. I fee like booking abed is some kind of confirmation and a next step of sorts...

My baby also decided to hold the cord in front of her face so we could not see much.

Hi Ladies

Trust you all had a great weekend.

We had our scan on the 28th and doc needs to see us again in 2 weeks.
She is concerned that baby tummy is 1 week smaller. So I am stressed.
Everything else was on track.
I am now 31 weeks.
Bellyhearts are felt the same. Did not go anywhere this weekend.
Struggling to walk. Having pains in my groin area. Called doc said its baby moving.

Bellyhearts - so glad you enjoyed your scan!

Since I've hit the 3rd trimester it feels like I've lost control over my body - haha.. I just laugh at the new problems that arise each moment. The weekend was difficult. I couldn't sleep on Saturday night, couldn't find a comfy position to lie, furthermore I have stabbing pain in my left kidney (Dr says its just "growing" pains) I also suffered from heartburn, my hip lodged out of place.. the list goes on.. up till my 28th week life was a breeze and this pregnancy was very easy...
