Good morning ladies! 2 more days to another long weekend !

I'm finally feeling real movement/kicks and not just flutters. Daddy was also able to feel it for the first time last night and he was over the moon

Ctelly, congrats on your anniversary yesterday. hope you enjoyed the spa

Simone, stick to your original date. baby will just be bigger than the average.
all there machines are set to European averages and the average is 3,3kg if i remember correctly.
G always measured 3-4 weeks ahead and 2 other dr's said my date was wrong, but with him there was no question about my date and he was 3,7kg's born at 38 weeks - he would have been close to 4,7 kg's if he was full term.

Kel, i also never had questions with G. and 2nd time around i know much more, so again no questions.
what i can suggest though, is if you want to go for a natural birth, ask questions about that so you get a feel if your gynie supports natural or not. very little gynies actually truly support natural and will say a lot of crap to convince you that you need a Csec.

AFM, G is finally healthy again. the last fever was Friday night and he vomited like crazy on Saturday and then all was fine again.
Simone, the pead said it was a viral infection in his trought and to just manage the fever, but if he was not better by Friday to do bloods and test for more serious things.
this morning i realized that we are almost halfway through this year already - time flies like crazy.

sorry for the silence. Ayesha, your story had really hit me. I felt so bad just continuing everyday posts where inside I'm mourning with you & your family. I hope that the next few weeks & months you will find healing.

My next scan is tomorrow at 2:30pm, will be exactly 24 weeks. Looking forward to seeing my little boy again. I need to make the rest of my appointments until due date & get info with regards to booking my bed at the hospital.

My gyne wants me to come to my appointments with a list of questions for her at every visit, but for the life of me I can't think of much. Do you ladies have any general questions you're wanting to ask your gynes at next scan?

Hi girls

23 weeks today. Had my scan on Saturday. All is fine! Gender still a surprise
Baby weighs about 600g now. My gut feeling is saying it's another boy!
Attached is the only 4D photo we managed to get as baby was snuggled right into my placenta. Lol

Ayesha you are on my mind constantly. Please update us on how you are doing. xxxx

Had my foetal assessment scan last week. Been sick with pharyngitis and then went to my chest. Up since 2am....grrrr. ...With a bit of coughing...but much better.

Scan went well. Definitely a boy. The centre puts me at 10 days ahead of what gynae put me. Gynae also puts me ahead but put it down to 'big baby'. According to centre and my LMP I should be 10 days ahead...so not sure now. will chat to gynae when I see him next month.

Still not looking pregnant at all. But baby moves lots and quite active...so I enjoy that he's keeping me company as I type.

Stella wow at G being so sick. Oh my word...to be misdiagnosed....sad! So glad he is doing better now. So what was wrong with him?

enjoy your weekend Stella. And goodluck with the fever. Its quite frustrating when the well educated Dr doesn't make the right diagnoses. Hope he feels better soon.
May you all have a lovely long weekend. Monday is our wedding anniversary, so husband and I are going to Spa, go to the cinema and eat out in the evening.. looking forward. We'll also start to paint the nursery this weekend. I'm going for a sheep-themed room.
