Think I need another weekend to recover from the weekend!

Ctelly, I know how you feel. I spent most of the long weekend trying to catch up the studies for exams next week.
Still have to start my POE. No idea how I'm going to do this. Nothing I'm reading is sticking in my brain!

Good morning Ladies, hope you all had a wonderful long weekend. Our scan on Thursday was great. Our dr gives us about 10 pics and 3 videos at every appointment, one of the videos shows how our little boy is yawning.. its so priceless.. I watched it over and over the weekend. I'm also having weird dreams.. last night I dreamt that after birth we came home (around 10 in the morning) and only around 8 at night I realised I need to feed our poor little one, and there weren't any diapers in the house.. - Bad mommy!! luckily its only a dream... Hope you all have a wonderful week. I'm off on Wednesday for husband's birthday.. next week I write exam!!

We went for a 4D scan this morning - my sister in law used her connections and organised for someone to help us before work. The families are very curious to know what the gender of the baby is! So we confirmed it is a baby girl! Her name will be Carli

The 4D scan is so nice - really worth it! Enjoy your long weekends!

StellaK I'm not concerned about a big baby, I am concerned about booking my c-section on my 40 week due date. I'm told it's risky to go into labour (after 2 c-sections). It doesn't make sense that my gynae ignores my last period date. I haven't had such a deviance in size with my other 2 kids.

The lady at the centre was much happier when she got period date and the sizes lined up.

Also if I go according to gynae's scan....I was a week pregnant when I got 2 positive results. Who gets positive results so early?

Anyways, will chat to him.

That being said...I would LOVE to have my c-section at 40 weeks if it's fine, as I prefer my babies to stay put as long as possible.

Re: Circumcision.... Oi. We didn't circumcise Joshua. He developed a medical issue a year ago and had to unfortunately have him circumcised. I was traumatised! They had to peel the skin off his penis to create a head and seperate the fused skin. This wasn't a normal sort of thing. THey told me the procedure would last 15 minutes...it lasted almost an hour.

The recovery....he was so brave, but my baby took a good 3 weeks before he could even wear undies again! Had to sleep open in winter, legs spread, naked...it was awful.

Now I'm so torn about the 2nd boy....as I don't want to go through that with another baby, but I also don't want to circumcise my newborn

I don't otherwise believe a circumcision is necessary. I was happy to let my sons decide to do that themselves one day if they wanted to.

Morning ladies

Scan went well yesterday, little boy is growing well & weighing around 580g. Didn't get nice pics like last time, but happy knowing he's all good in there. I booked a ward visit this coming Sunday where we can check out the rooms & make bed booking. DH couldn't make it for the scan yesterday, he was too busy to leave work at the time of my appointment. Was a bit sad having to go alone, but oh well.

Glad to see everyone is well, and babies are all still healthy and strong.

Cannot wait for this weekend, even though we just had a long weekend.
Having so many issues at work that I'm about ready to resign.
It's taken an entire year just to get the financial manager to sign off the transfer form after my promotion last year January, and now HR has decided that they don't like the title the FM gave me and still refuse to change it.
I mean I know the company is in difficulty, it's not like I'm gonna force them to pay me more (would be nice tho), all I want is for my payslip to reflect the correct title as per the job I do.
Can it really be so difficult just to correct a title, after nearly a year and a half?
I'm actually almost at the point of looking for a ccma consultant and finding out what my rights are...

Anyway...

Had a nice busy long weekend. Braai with friends and studying.
But we also finished our little project for baby. (pics attached)
Newly renovated nappy/toiletry 'kassie'.
Little Siobhan can use it later on as a bedside table or for her toys.
