Pp in regards with the wipes i thought she was joking, she was even sending me her banking details, saying she needs the money now. , my hubby sent our gardner to the bank and got over and done with. How much was it R120 , after my helper has been taking care of her toddler when she went to work when they were staying here, without pay or even a thank you token from her, she works for me not her, that's not her job and my son goes to creche but i had no issues cause i was trying to help. She is separated from her hubby, honestly i never wanted her to even come to my shower but my husband thinks its mean, but again he doesn't know the details he will end up telling her off.

My mom is late, so she always reminds us she is our mom now cause she is the older one....a great job she is doing don't you think???

@Kimmy - I think your sister needs to be put in her place, finished and klaar! What a cheek!! If she's worried about keeping her kids busy, then why doesn't she look for a babysitter? Or can't her husband look after them (or is a co-ed babyshower)? You don't need the stress and if it's so important to her (and FOR HER) then she must fork out. It's not like it's an event that you've planned and invited them (kids too) without giving consideration to children's entertainment. As for the wet wipes... is she mad? I understand offering to buy things for other people when you see them on special, but before I do that I pick up my cellphone and ASK them if they actually want the item and if it would be convenient for them for me to buy it and they then reimburse me. Obviously you'd want your sister at your shower (I'm assuming!), but if she'd just be there to cause nonsense (which is how it sounds) I think you'd be better off with her just not coming. Is your mom in the picture about this?

Ok i need to vent,

Tomorrow is my shower, my friends have been planning it for months all i did was to tell them what i want and how. Now my sister says i must get a jumping castle because she needs something that will keep her kids busy, firstly i told her its not on the budget(but she never believes when i say i dont have money)
And the truth is again i dont want it, my son is scared of it and i just think there will be caos . But she nags me everyday for it, sends me numbers for me to call suppliers, then i said then she must pay for it, cause am not even paying for my own shower so why must i get something i dont want.and again this morning she is still at it, it frustrates me i feel like crying, cause i think she is insensitive, this is a person who bought me wet wipes for my baby few months ago they were on special at game and she wanted her money back(i didnt even ask for them), after i accomodated her with her kids when she had issues with her husband.how do i deal with her?? I just dont have energy

Oh my! Congrats again, HDVB! She is too cute Love the pic of her with her daddy! Looks like she's drowning a little in her clothes - too adorable! Glad that she's healthy and could go home with you.

I hope everyone had a lovely day off yesterday. I'm back in the office today, but it's one of only 4 four days left before my maternity leave starts I also worked a locum yesterday, my last one for quite some time! Then had my SIL and her family come over so she could finish the mural and we treated them to a simple boerieroll braai.

The nursery still needs to be put back in order, but since I've been dying to show the mural, I took some snaps. I'll post again when things are where they should be and everything is properly tidied up.



I decided to see if this dress would fit and was pleasantly surprised that it did so I decided to insert myself into the loveliness


Otherwise my feet just feel bruised and swollen. Noticed some more discharge the last couple of days Keeping a close eye to make sure the mucous plug doesn't come out. I put a linen saver on my bed at the beginning of the week and it's so awkward 'cause I find I actually sweat more on top of it and then I feel the dampness and think, did something happen?

To the ladies enjoying a long weekend - I hope you get a good rest and if you're stressing about getting things done that you manage those too without getting worked up.
