Lol I have rested slightly, with my LG's birthday party next weekend I've been getting that all sorted out, washed babies clothes on Thursday. Didn't have a long weekend as such as I worked Friday and sat morning to catch up for month end. But I did have a very relaxing Saturday afternoon and Sunday didn't touch babies room even though I did tell DH I wanted the crib up - that didn't happen. Well I'm holding thumbs she comes in! We have ours coming in next week only. Hope the 3 weeks are long enough for her to learn and at the same time quick enough for you to finally go on maternity leave

@Lauz i hope this long weekend did you some good, if you weren't too busy in baby's room that is??

I really enjoyed the time off, and i got alot done so feeling very chuffed with myself.
Im just praying my temp comes tomorrow as promised!! Only have 3 weeks left of work!!

Kimmy yeah something like I am Jedi, like the father before me, with Yoda's face! Can you imagine if we had to call our son Luke! Oh goodness the jokes this poor child will endure!

As for all the clothes, you could always go and exchange it if you really would prefer something else, we did that with a few doubles and outfits I just didn't like at all with my first.

Juanita, I'm working until the 20th November, my gynae said she is happy with me working all the way until the end but if I feel I need to finish earlier she'll book me off as sick leave instead of maternity. I definitely believe it's my body saying slow down but how do you slow down when you have so much happening! I think this is all an after effect of the stress I went through for two weeks when my colleague was off sick! I havent been taking VIT C in tablet form however have been taking it with my fruits and veggies and fruit juice. Maybe I should just get myself extra VIT C and at the same time run it past my gynae on tues!

Glad all went well with babyshower Kimmy!! The clothes will come in handy, you'll be glad to have more rather than too little!!

Finally finished painting the baby room yesterday!! Looks fabulous!! Colour on the tin is totally different to the color it came out as on the walls but i love it none the less!! Now i just need to get started on my polka dot wall then I can start moving furniture in!! Think dh is so relieved most of work is done!!!
We both been feeling so drained lately?! I feel so positive about the stuff that still needs to get done but when it comes down to it i just don't have the energy?? Just going to pick n pay is a mission and i have to force myself out the house to go!?

My babyshower was nice, loved the cake, pity i struggle to download on my tablet , the gifts, how i wish people can stop buying clothes !!!
But am glad is over,now i can do final preps for my baby , still need toiletries
And i wait. The next few weeks i just want to really take it easy

Juanita, lol yup also suffering from the dreaded kankles!

Went to have my hair done yesterday to make me feel better considering this flu really has emotionally drained me, It's doing a full circle in the head of mine, nose, throat, ears and then eyes. Good thing I'm seeing my gynae on Tuesday can't be living on eye drops, Loranos and Iliadin!

PP, a bit delayed but that mural is amazing! And you look absolutely beautiful!

HVDB, such a pity they couldn't get the stem cells, they don't seem to mention those 5% chances situations. At least they didn't charge you the full amount either of R4000 I would have died losing that type of money to be honest!
Need to contact them asap as I really want it done and don't think my brain will be thinking stem cells if it was an emergency.

Otherwise from my side, hubby has decided to get really involved with babies room all of a sudden - one slight problem he wants his little boys room to be all about Star Wars. I've already bought linen for the bed from mrprice home just their simple ABC and teddy bear bedding and blue curtains. Lol he now wants to order lighting that looks like those laser things they use and master Jedi as a mural with some wording about Father. So I'm trying to convince him to do that when our little man is a little older not for now as a babies room lol you can see I am no Star Wars fan lol!
