@Juanita, that's great news, lets hope she does indeed start soon. Please try and relax now. I am glad the toothache is manageable. Yeah its really silly for a 30 yr old to be getting a new tooth. First pregnancy i lost 2, this one ia m getting 1 new tooth, if only it was growing were i lost the 2.. What type of bag are you using? that's how clueless i feel. does one need a suitcase..or what?

@HVDB - you are very right, venting is more than welcome here. So you are only a few weeks away from meeting your baby, so cool. Take it easy this week, and see if the discharge wont kinda clear up. at least you are seeing your dr this week..hopefully everything is alright.

My last appointment he gave me his back, i just told my dr not to put in on a disk

Hope all had a lovely weekend. I mostly slept the entire time.

Anyway so I had my 4D scan today and I am happy to report that baby is doing very well. Was amazing to see his little face. He was very shy at first and did not want to show anything but after some encouragement he turned and I got to see him.

I am very jealous that some of you can distinguish when being kicked but in my case a definitely cant feel what part of him is kicking LOL

First of all.... NOBODY needs to apologise for ranting in this forum... this is what we are here for as nobody but us understand each other at this point in time!

We had such a blessed weekend with the baby shower... everybody that we invited came and the weather played along. We were just over 50 people and had so much fun! We also received some awesome gifts... of which one was a had made soft toy! The most gorgeous thing I have ever seen...

One of you mentioned in an earlier post that you think that baba moved a bit more down into your pelvic area as the movements are different? Well same here, it happened Friday night, earlier Saturday morning with me... everything just felt different and the pressure down there increased so much. I also started experiencing sharp pains in the groin/veejayjay as well. What I have noticed thought.... more serious... is a discharge colour change... sorry.... it started Saturday... and this morning it was much darker (brownish/reddish)... I phoned the labour unit and spoke to a sister there.... she said that as long as it is not RED and only brown I should not worry too much, I do not have any pain except for the BH that are getting more intense and sometimes painful due to the fibroid, everything feels normal. She said that I am welcome to go there and they can do a check, but I feel ok and baba is moving continuously... So for now, we are just keeping an eye. I do have an appointment on Thursday with my Dr, so if everything stays the same, I will inform her then. For now, I am just chilling on the couch and resting. Apparently the busyness from the weekend could also have caused the discharge...

@Lilly, that is really very weird about your milk and that dr thinks it might contribute to the problem I hope he is wrong!!!
I know i was allergic to my moms milk!! not sure what effect it had on me but i do know i couldnt have any of it.

Ok so it looks like my temp will still be starting afterall, but only next week or the week thereafter. she phoned to let me know that her lg has german measels and that she knows its very dangerous around preggie woman ..... Lets just hold thumbs this is really the case

@Lilly, so funny, you and my 5 year old both getting new teeth that is just so bizarre!! just shows you, anything is possible, especially when your pregnant. my tooth ache still comes and goes, it seems like its all my top molars, my friend says she thinks its sinus related. does make sense coz ive never had this bad sinus in my whole life!!! the sinupret is a joke (my opinion) My sinus just laughs in the face of sinupret

As for outsourcing the stuff that needs to be done, WAY TO GO GIRL!!! You rock!!! sometimes thats the only way they will get unplugged from their seats and start doing things! with my hubby, i sometimes take his drill and will start drilling but will make a effort to look totally useless and then he will come running and "rescue" the project at hand Works everytime!!

With regards to packing the bags, ive already started. LG's stuff all chosen just need to be rinsed this week then she will be all set. and my bag i just need to add my toiletries then im done. just feel that i would rather be prepared sooner than later. if i do go into labour earlier than scheduled then hubby can just grab and go. goodness knows what lg and i will be wearing if we had to depend on him choosing our outfits

@Clueless, sorry your feeling like your the only one that is worried about the arrival of your lg. Maybe its best just to take matters into your own hands? These men can be really DOF sometimes, and they really dont mean to be. i know my hubby will wait till after the birth to go shopping if i left it up to him. Even with Leandi i just calmed myself, realised that his personality is not as pressing as mine and then decided i would carry on, on my own. Same thing with Larissa, i have done 99% of the shopping on my own, even the furniture, now all he needs to do is get the room ready. at the moment it feels like its taking forever and time is ticking. but im not worried coz if the room is not finished, then ah well its just not finished. then i will just set lg up in my room till her space is ready.
we also tend to forget that they are so small, and they really dont need much. i know its important to you to have everything organised before hand, tell him that it means alot to you, and that you need it done so you can relax and enjoy the last couple of weeks. maybe all he needs is to hear it ??
