Morning ladies!
How are you all doing this morning?
Thanks for the support yesterday, I really needed it! I laughed so hard for all the responses and everyone's plans to activate hubbies into action, isn't that just like us women? LillyR and Kimmy, I love your ideas of outsourcing and a signed "to do" list. I have to admit, in general I have the most success with "to do" lists as well, if I need hubby to do stuff. And Juanita, that is so cool of you, doing the drilling and then pretending to be bad at it

I'm going to try that one!!
Hubby surprised me last night by saying that we should start painting baby's room this weekend so that the paint smell can be gone by the time she comes.

I guess my chat on Sunday did have an impact on him after all! We will see what happens this weekend...
Pillpusher, your pics are AMAZING!! I am so impressed, and it is done so tastefully. Looks cozy and loving. I can imagine any little girl looking at those years later, and love seeing how happy her mommy and daddy was that she was on the way...
HVDB, glad you had a great time. How is the discharge this morning? I agree, please take it easy and keep your feet up for a day or two, and let us know how things are.
ZandriT and LilliR, your scans are beautiful! Its amazinghow different they all look, even at this age one can sometimes see a family resemblance. In my 4D scan, LG is quite squished, and the midwife remarked on her chubby cheeks, so hubby said she really does resemble his older brother (who is VERY overweight). Now I'm stressing again that she is going to be a big "growwe" little girl (being very tall myself, albeit quite petite, I know how bad it can be for a girl to be "bigger" than all her friends). And MIL said she has FIL's mouth

She has her own mouth, dammit! HAhahaha, maybe I'm just emotional because I secretly would have liked to see some features that remind me of myself, rather than my inlaws
Lauz.Mayer, that sounds terrible! Can you relax and keep your feet up at least for today? And maybe a hot water bottle? It may just be ligaments or a nerve that gets pinched by baby turning and pressing, I have heard that is not uncommon. I also stress about my oldest LG regressing and finding it very hard, she's only turning 3 next month. She actually still asks for a bottle before bed, and I don't really mind, as it is a comfort thing for her and I think the more comfort items she has to make her feel better now, the better. She prefers to drink her juice at dinner out of an actual glass, (or a small sherry glass if hubby has wine in a wine glass) so I feel she has sufficient coordination, and the evening the bottle is just for comfort. We can always switch to a sports bottle later... But she is getting more and more clingy, insisting that I pick her up and carry her. She asks for a hug and then when I comply, she'll say "Nee, opstaan-drukkie!" (No, hug-standing-up) which is basically just a sneaky way to get me to pick her up

So yes, very worried there...
AFM, I'm REALLY itching still. The baths help for my body, but the soles of my feet and palms of my hands are driving me NUTS! But apart from that, all well. I will have my 32 week checkup on Monday, and from here on I see gynae every two weeks. It makes it so much more real, doesnt it?
Anyway, hope all you ladies have a great day!
