Helllooooo I'm back, OK everything is fine, no contractions and baby is doing just fine, they did pick up a little blood in my urine, but nothing serious. I AM NOT IN LABOUR! Pfeew..... cause I just realised that I am not ready yet... mentally that is....

So I am going to take it easy and maybe a little shopping

Just a quick stop in between all the fuss! I submitted my maternity leave form yesterday and have two weeks and one day to go Thanks for all the compliments on the photos

@HDVB - all the best, my dear. I also wondered if it might be the mucous plug (especially with the bloody appearance)! It could still be a while, but whatever happens, I hope that you, DH and your little one are happy and healthy.

@Lauz - I would email Dischem's customer care centre and tell them about your experience. I wouldn't take it sitting down, you did what you were supposed to do and it's not fair that you need to wait for everything to be processed still! I've had my bag for 7 weeks now and have packed all of El's toiletries for the hospital stay into it.

Oh ja, on the hospital bag, I've got a small luggage bag with wheels. I think I'll have to pour my body wash and lotion into medicine bottles because I always buy big 700ml bottles and they take up so much room. The plan is to have my stuff in the one bag and El's in the nappy bag, but I think some of her clothes will be in mine.

All the best to you ladies trying to mobilise your husbands! That's all I can think of for now... have to dive back into batch reviews and releases!!

@ LauzMayer- I know how you feel - this morning I woke up with a horrible nose bleed, I mean really bad. I took me a hour to stop the bleeding. So I feeling a bit blue today.

I have 5 weeks left before my maternity leave and I cannot wait. Yesterday morning we had urgent work that needed to be completed and I ended up on my feet for two hours straight without any rest in between afterwards when I finally sat down I felt like I was going to faint. So this morning I spoke to my boss and told him that I can't work this hard anymore. My feet was horribly swollen and the stress can't be good for the baby.

Basically I wishing the time by until my maternity leave starts. I think the biggest problem is that I am not showing that much yet and people seem to forget that I am 30 weeks pregnant.

Oh and I forget to mention yesterday - the lady who did my 4D scan told me that from this week my baby needs to pick up 200g of weight a week. And she said that I need to eat more regularly during the day WOW I know this is true but I am so busy that I just don't have the time. So today I packed extra and some fruit for in between.

@Lauz, i dont know about these temps anymore. my hubby said that he hopes her daughter is really sick and its not just a lie and that she does start next week or thereafter. if she doesnt, i will be pretty screwed only having like 3 weeks to look for someone and train them
As for your shooting pains, you better take it easy. i know its easier said than done but we dont have only ourselves to look out for anymore. we need to be selfish where our health and our baba's health are concerned now!!

@Clueless, im so glad your hubby actually listened and is planning on painting this weekend. maybe you should be pro active and go buy everything he will need so that he can start straight away??
