Gosh so much to catch up on, firstly Juanita you can take lorano's or anything with loratadine I think thats the main ingredient in Lorano's they say it safe in pregnancy.

Oh I forgot to tell you how special my domestic worker is. This morning she gave me 2 vests and a receiving blanket for baby as she will not be here on Sunday for the baby shower! It really brought tears to my eyes! Sy is darem 'n ou klontjie goud die een van my!

@PP i still have my sangenic nappy bin from my 1st lg and it really was a winner!! Then inserts are a bit pricey but they are def well worth it!! Really glad i kept it!!

I have been following all the chats via email, can't remember all the topics discussed... sorry! I do remember one of you saying that due to having a long/tall torso, baby has a lot more space to move! It is so true, I am tall'ish or shall I say that I have long torso, so everybody say that I carry very small and I only have 4 weeks to go till my c-sec. My C-sec is scheduled for when I am 38 weeks and 4 days. Almost 39 weeks.

One of you mentioned that you feel bruised from all the movement... well same here...I love the movements but sometimes it is really sore and uncomfortable... but I still love it.

I read in a book that according to stats, little girls are a bit more reluctant to make the move out of the womb... they are usually very happy to be and stay where they are... (don't know how true this is) I'll will see if I can take a snap shot of that paragraph and post it here. I honestly don't know what is going to happen, some days I feel that this little one is going to surprise us a little bit earlier than the 9th and then again.... I think everything is going to go by the book! Some days I feel it is a boy and some days a girl.... my mind is all over the place.

I bought the cutest play mat, very colourfull and about 1.5x1.8m in size, our baby room is very neutral, thus the colourful mat, will take a pic once I receive it, which should be this afternoon or tomorrow. It is made of some kind of plastic/foam and can be cleaned with any chemicals or detergents. It is also very reasonably priced, can post the catalog here if one of you are interested.

Then I also saw some cute baby/toddler stuff on www.grabit.co.za under toys, very well priced as well. They don't have much though.

So looking forward to this weekend, it is our baby shower and I have an Dr appointment next week.

Zandri, I ordered 20 through E-Bay... It was the cheapest option.

I didn't want to risk buying a pack (10) locally, which can be very expensive, and then not go through with it.

Bare in mind it took almost 2 months to get to me, so in the mean time I was able to get my head around the whole cloth diapering, and I'm very eager now to make it work. Even hubby is on board!

I will now order some extra cloth diapers for night time and longer periods and can now look around where to get the bamboo, hemp, charcoal inserts from.

It really is so exciting, and except the fact that it just looks so cute on baby's bum - what convinced me, was the fact that these nappies last from 3 months till potty training, which can be anything from 2 years to 3 years.
It really works out so much cheaper... yes, it has some extra work (washing the nappies, stuffing them etc - but I'm ready and prepared for that.

To make cloth diapering work, you need to get your mindset around it 100%!!!

Cloth is amazing! But if your head and your heart is not 100% into it - you'll only waste your time and money and end up being very frustrated.
