Due March/April 2017

Hi Ladies

How is everyone doing? Our group has been very quiet, I guess we're all preparing for our babies arrival and keeping busy with work and life and so on.

Did anyone go to the baby expo?

AFM: 17weeks and 4 days and sporting a bump. Anyone else showing yet?

Hi everyone. Sorry for being quite lately.

Everything are still fine with me. I were last Monday for a scan, were then 13weeks6days. Tomorrow I will be 15weeks pregnant. Doctor are very happy so far with baby, we actually laughed as the little one were sleeping, and my husband told me to shake my tummy so that he/she can turn around (as he/she were laying with the butt towards us), and the next moment he/she turned around, and stretching out. Were so adorable seeing it, he/she is extremely busy on the sonar, you just see the arms and legs moving and kicking. My next scan will be around the 22nd of November, then we will hopefully know if it is he/she. So I am actually wishing the time to go by.
My bump seems to get bigger each day. Nauseous are passing now, just get it a little from certain things, so I am not complaining. Just tired today, as I were last week on leave, and took a each day a "power nap", and now it is back to reality and work, so didn't took a nap, so now I am struggling keeping my eyes open.

My scan was on Friday, everything is looking good. Definitely a girl My c-section has also been booked for 20 March! She weighs and measures like she should be. The placenta is however still low - but it did move a little bit from where it was on 13 weeks. Sometimes you cant have a normal birth if it stays low, but that's not an issue for me as I will be a having another c-section anyway. But I read up on low lying placentas, and I shouldnt have It can sometimes cause some complications. I will just try not to worry too much until my next scan, which is the detailed scan on 9 November.

I havent bought any baby clothes yet! I went through my first baby's old clothes last night, and most of it seems brand new. I also dont know what clothes to buy for a newborn end of March? Probably long sleeves? I live in Cape Town...

9 sleeps till our next scan. Looking forward to seeing that our mini is doing well and to possibly confirm the gender (which at the FAS they said was a little girl) I'm really nervous as from the start I thought it was a boy...had boy ideas in my mind...had to change that to girly things (and I'm so excited) and the thought of possibly having to change my mindset again
Let's hope pink stays pink!!!!

Energy levels are much better, except that I fall asleep at 8pm, and nausea is gone, unless I eat onions/garlic.

On Wednesday someone asked me at work whether I've just picked up weight over my tummy or am I pregnant...so I guess my bump is making its existance known
Yes, it's bigger later during the day when the stomach muscles are a bit "worn out"/tired.

I have really been so bad at posting and have not posted in more than 2 months.
@Bellasmom, how are you doing? how far are you now?

How is everyone else doing? I have not read any of the updates on the page yet but plan to do so soon.

AFM: i am 13weeks and 6 days and already sporting a little bump! I've noticed my bump is more noticable in the evenings, anyone else experience this too?

Think I've just been too exhausted to type

Went for my 12 week FAS today. Also looks like a little girl for us, but will double check in 4 weeks at our 16 week scan.

All well with baby.

Mommy's Iron levels are pretty low so had to get new multivits and iron tablets.

Tiredness is getting better, nausea still there at times (can't wait for that to go!!)
