Due March/April 2017

Hi everyone, how are you guys doing? Very quiet here!

I went for my 13 weeks fetal assessment last week. Thus far everything looks good, baby measures exactly how far I am now, so still growing well. At this stage it looks like a girl My appointment with my own doctor is only at 16 weeks again.

Tryphie I am so sorry to hear about the mc. I really still hope that you will be getting a healthy baby in 2017. Best of luck for you.

I am 9 weeks 5 days, and extremely nausea. Bought this morning ginger cookies and seems to me this help with it. Otherwise I am doing fine. Just the whole time tired. Were just after 9 last night in bed, couldn't keep my eyes opened.

Tryphie , I'm so sorry to hear that. Look after yourself and do something for yourself like book a long massage. I had 2 MC before my 1st. I was wondering what is the 'safer' time to start telling people, 12 weeks? Also do you all count weeks from LMP or conception?

I'm a bit concerned how to deal with people's reactions when they hear the news. Not family but friends...we live in a small town (v conservative) and my husband is 54, I'm 39. I don't really care what others think...just want to nip any rude reactions in the bud.

Can't wait for my 1st scan 27 Sep....feels a bit unreal although was planned.

Tryphie I am very sorry! I don't know what to say ;( I hope you feel better soon and I know you will still have a 2017 baby. I read that you are very fertile after a MC.

Kirsten, good to hear. How many weeks are you now?

I am feeling terrible. I went to the doctor (GP) yesterday, I have a light (according to her) UTI and also a chest infection. I am now on antibiotics. My lower back is KILLING me, my body is so sore, most probably from the UTI. I hope it is not kidney infection because that is dangerous in pregnancy. But the doctor said the urine test only showed one + sign so I caught it early. I am wondering if I should let my gynae know? Probably not. My husband is a pharmacist and he says after three dosis of the antibiotics, I should be feeling better. Took my second one this morning. Using panado for the pain. It works for a while, luckily, but then the pain is back.

Sad news for me ... Had an MC this past weekend. And still feel like I'm dreaming. have to take some time out to heal properly so that we can try again. Still hoping for a 2017 baby though.

So, everything went well. I found a female gynae and she is lovely. Did a scan so now I feel much better after seeing my tiny little peanut.
