Due May / June 2017

Thuriey, with our first one (the MC one) we went on 5 weeks and only saw a bean.

2 weeks later when I started to spot we went again and the doctor said the previous gyne (we went to different doctor because of appointment availability) had the timing wrong I was almost 9/10 weeks and we heard no heart beat then, two days later I had the MC. (this was not a viable pregnancy as our LO never started to develop)

With our LO now, we went on 7w5d and we heard and saw the heart beat.

I would say do what you feel - if you what to wait, then wait.

But the heart starts beating at 6 weeks and we can only pick it up from about 7/8 weeks...

Hey Ladies

I have a question for when you went for your first ultrasound...what age was it and could you see /hear the heartbeat (I've had two but can't remember when was the first time I had heard their heartbeats)

I went for my first appointment yesterday and doc could not pick up the heartbeat (gestational age is 9 weeks / fetal age is 7 weeks)

She did a tummy scan picked up the little bean and the measurements were on par for 7 weeks, but then she said she needs to do an vaginal scan, she did this and still couldn't see the heart. We were given two options...an evac or wait another week. I opted to wait another week.

Awesome! We went at 7w5d and we are going tomorrow for a check up as I can only get in at the gyne at 13w5d which is 3 Nov, still going to try and move it earlier.

Ooh wow am exactly 10w6days today w3nt for my first scan at 6w

I am also 10w5d today, I am also bloated, luckily my headaches subsided.

Am new here, am based in Jhb ,Midrand...currently am a SAHM , have 1baby girl 1,6minths expecting a surprise no2, we were planning to start TTC nxt year, we are so excited am 30yrs with my first pregnancy and this one i dont have any preggy symptoms exceot for bloating, soo much gas lol ..... and headaches here and there...
My edd is the 7th May , i am 10w and will be seing my gynea at 14w (4/11), then my midwife at 16w,(18/11) .
