I am brave.. think so too... will definitely wait until about 18 months before trying again... not erally in the mood for being preggies again... didn't like it very much!!

Which Saturday is your off saturday, then maybe we can go for an outing then... so elamsmom can come too?

I read somewhere that you should wait until 18 months, for your body to return to normal, before falling pregnant again. That was in Miriam Stoppard, I think. Are you still breastfeeding?

Elamsmom, it would be nice if you recruited her back. Shew, but on the one hand it's nice because it's happened now and there isn't this uhming and ahing about whether to fall pregnant - it's done. And if it's going to be her last, then she'll have it over and done with Before she gets too old.

Wow... I would not want to pregnant right now... Karla is definitely enough for me to handle right now!! W are also thinking of when Karla is about 2 years old... Hubby wants 3, I think I want 3 as well...

Nope, she's not on moomie. I'm gonna recruit her back though She's about 3 months preggy!!!! I was SHOCKED to say the least. She says it wasn't planned but what can she do now, except to look fwd to the new addition. Me????? NO WAY! Not anytime soon!!! Still enjoying Elam's little milestones and still wanna lavish her with all the attention for a few more years.

DH has started the talk about a new baby. If I protest we end up arguing/ fighting so since the whole baby thing is COMPLETELY within my control, I've resorted to saying "OK, baby, we'll fall preggy late this year and have another baby in 2012" HA! HE WISHES!!!! That is sooooooo not gonna happen. For men it's all about the pride of their little offspring, bragging abt their developments and how pretty they are. He has no idea how much work goes into getting her all pretty and fed and happy!!!! NO IDEA AT ALL!!!

Anyway, *sigh* after that little venting... Hope u all well today ladies.

What?? Pregnant again?? Eish. No. We're probably not going to have another one. We've spoken about it, and my husband's keen to just have one (also make more sense financially). I'm a bit conflicted at the moment, but to be honest I think the birth was a bit traumatic and is still a bit raw and at the moment I don't think I could go through that again.

But I'm with you on them now being an active member of the family. They're so interactive, compared with the first few months, crikey.

So how far along is Luks1? Is she on Moomie??

Work with creche is Nedbank on Rivonia Road. It's GREAT! Definitely going to take Elam here when she's 2. you drop them off from 06:30 or 7:00 and fetch by 17:30pm. They are right here in the building with you! Not sure if parents are allowed to visit at lunchtime, I'd spend every lunch there. Hhheeheheh

Hi Zulu. Yep, amazing to think it's almost 1st bdays already! Feels like yesterday when I brought home a TINY little person who could do nothing for herself. Now she's crawling around (she's so fast,bet she'd win the Formula1 of crawling-if there was one! ); pulling everything, starting to brteak stuff then laugh:angry:; we've had to pull out an old remote control for her so we can have peace while watching tv otherwise she plays with the real one and either increases or decreases the volume so we can't hear or changes the channels! She's really an active member of the family now and not just an eating,sleeping little being. VERY EXCITING!

Soooooooo, million dollar question...is anyone thinking of another one yet???? One of the ladies from our PF thread(Luks1) is pregnant again!!!!! Me?...i reckon will start thinking about it only late next year or 2013.
