Can't believe we've all come so far since we first met up on the Pampers site more than a year ago. Claudia_B, I look back on those colic days and wonder if they really did happen. Everything was so hectic and hazy then. I think I spent most of the first few months just about in a coma.

Phephe, a friend of mine's baby had eczema and she took her to a dermatologist who had a waiting period of three months, only to eventually get this appointment and be told that she'd grow out of it! Maybe the heat also aggravates it.

Isn't it amazing how quickly these months have gone, hectic.

Nicky, I can only imagine how horrible it must be to spend so little time with your LO... I'm sure you will do a great job raising her as a balanced individual anyway.. it may seem like a little time but you can make up on weekends . In all honesty I sometimes feel like I'm struggling to do everything I want to with my kiddies and I'm at home with them every day. It can be seriously hectic when you have to take care of them both and try keep the house in some sort of state.... and sometimes I feel like one on one time with each of them just doesn't happen. I use to do so many things iwth my son when it was just him but now, jeepers. Time flies by so quickly I guess we should just cherish those precious moments.. whether they be mostly bath/bedtime moments or chasing around tiding up moments lol... they all count for something and are special in their own way

Hi my son will be 6months on the 22nd,am battling with eczema but besides that hes a happy baby loves his food weighs just over 9kgs. When i went back to work i decided on finding a daymother but i have since pulled him out and found a nanny for him. I was not happy with the fact that she would allow others moms to bring in their children not bathed in the morning for me hygiene is a must should never be comprimised my son then started coughing getting sickly etc. But am happy with nanny! Decided he will go to creche when hes atleast 18 months

Hi Phephe. Most of us chat on newborn/baby advice, but I really think it would be nice to get this thread going so that any new moms to moomie with babies the same age can find us:)

My little one will be 6 months on thursday. I cant believe it. Time has flown by (although it didnt feel like it in the beginning when I was struggling with colic, sleeplessness etc..)
He is such a happy, easy baby (although he has his days)

Another busy day at the office
I feel wracked with guilt at the moment - how can I expect to raise a well rounded, healthy, intellegent child when I see her for about 3 hours a day - and most of that time is feed, bath and bed? Does anyone else feel this way? Will it go away? I've tried convincing my hubby that I should stay home, but in this day and age, life costs a fortune!

Welcome back Sweetypie. Glad this thread seems to be picking up a bit - it all but died on us. If you have a gap post some pics of your little ones. Can only imagine how hectic it is with two! I'm struggling with just the one (although you wouldn't think so the way I've been spamming the forum today - it's my day off work). We don't really have the sleeping thing right - Emily was sleeping through like a champion and then the last two weeks have just been awful. So we started her on cereal in the hope that it would get her sleeping through again but although it's helped a bit Madam's still waking up at all hours.
