We cut Ruru's hair on Monday, took the whole day. He's terrified of the clipper so we used a scissor, its not perfect but still better than b4. So ja, ugqoloziwe tl tl tl!!!!

Lil man also wants me to pick him up ALL the time. I used to complain bout how he's more attached to his dad last yr, now I just wanna get him off me!!!
But I guess it comes with the age he's at. No bitting or hitting. he always tries to bite my big toe but it dsnt happen regularly so.... cnt complain too much.

Ruru didnt eat b/fast b4, so I just moved it from 8, to 8:30. By then he's VERY hungry. He wakes 7am & has 120ml of Nido, then we wait for bfast. I give him 60ml of Nido when he goes to nap, he finishes it & sleeps then he gets another 120ml before bedtime.

He's back teeth are out now, bottom & top so he has 12 & he's starting to teeth again!!!! Praying its not too bad Fri as we travelling the whole day. Arriving 9pm in SA, leaving Paki @ 9am.

just popping in to say hi!! So, HI!!

all is well on our side. Leandi doing great. had a awesome weekend with her "nefie" just got a little ticked off with him. he is almost 4 and still stays with granny, so not used to maaitjies at all, and he just gets a kick out of taking her toys that she is still busy playing with and runs away. Eventually he understood that if he does it again, this auntie will seriously loose her cool.

Its one of those where the mom lies on the couch all day and he just does whatever he likes. He plays tv games 90% of the day. I AM NOT KIDDING!!! and he stands in front of the tv, the screen is about 30cm away from his face, STILL NOT KIDDING!!! it freaked me out. how can a four year old be that obsessive with a tv, and so close?? i got a headache on his behalf. Leandi doesnt mind playing inside, but she gets agitated very quickly and sommer goes outside herself if no one takes her. So atleast there is a healthy balance. Hectic i tell you.

Bought Leandi some Scots Emulsion to start boost her imune for the winter, and sommer told the daymother to give it to the other 2 children that are there. their moms dont give them any vits and then wonder why they are so quick to get sick. not much use if i give Leandi vits and the other kids still come to dm with snotty noses. Anyway, much much cheaper than a pead visit, so i will buy it with a smile!!

I spoke to hubby last night about maybe if he do something wrong its TIME OUT.... like charlotte does and put him in the cot/room/ corner.

Is all of you's LO also constantly crying for you to pick them up? it feels like he is attached to my hip.... i am very small and petite and my son got he's fathers genes and is on a wopping 13.5 KG wearing 18-24 clothes so he is basicaly huge and my arms are growing out of porportion as he is to freakin heavy.... HELP

Hope everyone had a good night's rest last night.

Not much news to report on our side. Zani is doing well, and has been sleeping through the night for the past two weeks. Does wake up early though - 6:30 which is ok for a weekday but is seriously uncool over a weekend But I guess you take your victories where you can get them.

Went to go buy some winter clothes for Zani over the weekend, but what a mission! Wanted to get her some of those corduroy pants for creche as they are only R29 each and then it won't be such an issue when she gets paint etc on it, but the 12-18 months is WAY to big. Almost two of her can fit in there! And the 6-12 months fits nicely around the waist, but looks like 3/4 pants! I don't know if it is just Woolies sizes, because the Naartjie pants are fine?? But I really don't want to buy R200 pants for creche!

Charlotte - Zani is doing great with no formula during the day. I was mistaken though as I thought she would not get any milk, but what she gets is 100ml rooibos tea mixed with 100ml cows milk. She gets that at 8:30 and at 12:00 and then at 3 she gets a little tea to go with her cookie. At night I still give her formula.

Juno - How is the Practica going for you? I have a suggestion for you regarding Liam's feeding, but please don't feel like I'm telling you what to do. The peadiatrician told me when I was worried about Zani not eating to always give food first and then milk. What we do now is when she wakes up at 6 she does not get any milk. We play (and she can have some water) untill 8 when she gets her Mielie pap and then at 8:30 she gets her milk (used to) then again at 11:30 is lunch time and then at 12 she gets her milk. She gets a broodjie at 10 also (small) and another snack (usually a yogurt) at 3 in the afternoon. Then dinner at 6 (no milk just water untill then) and then her evening formula at 7:30. Maybe try the food first and then 1/2 hour later the formula. Worked for us.

I can definitely see that since she is no longer getting so much milk during the day her appetite is increased a lot! She is also getting so good at feeding herself and I just walk pass every now and then and give a spoon or two. The rest she feeds herself, but oh my word is it messy! But she just loves being a big girl.

Anyway, keep well and hope all the babas are good.

Juno - I lost with the hitting, she is still hitting and then immediatly kissing her sister to make up for it. The cot thing does not help at all because as soon as she getsout, she runs to Amandalynn an smacks her, like it was he fault for being punished.

Hello every1. Still follow all your commments, still trying to find time in my day for some moomie time. So pls bear with me. Tonight I feel down, like all I do for my angel is just not good enough. Last couple of nts she just cries, nothing I do calms her down. She was so upset now she was gagging, I had to give her a vibrucol suppository.....don't like what I did, but at least its natural and she has calmed down and fallen asleep. Breaks my heart. Feels like I have let her down somehow. Its terrible that u love someone so much and it hurts so much
