juanita: i love port st johns im from the EC so do the wild coast every december. so rural, so green, small and dusty but stunning. its all natural and unspoilt. hate the drive but all worth it.

charlotte: as for hitting were are also at that stage what i do is ignore the lil madam and show and give siba some love. seems to be working.

@juno: how is liam any first steps. what do you mean projects pulled what do you do.

rhodine: so sorry to hear about your work hassles i do hope that it gets better and that you and your partner find something. keep the faith my dear.

AFM: babies are well buhle had an active tummy think teething. his still eating well and talking. he says a new word every week. siba is doing great on the speech development side the therapy is helping.

Junno, i used to mix the baby cereal with yogurt, then at least it was a little more filling.
And what about if you crush a banana and mix it with the yogurt?? He obviously loves his yogurt. This will too pass, im sure of it.

Charlotte, Lori is gorgeous!! Not sure what your going to try next with the hitting, but putting her in the cot everytime does sound like a plan?? Probably wont be a instant cure, but over time she will see that it sucks being stuck inside the cot and might just stop hitting her sister.

@ Charlotte. Loli has quite a head of hair on her! Difficult one with the hitting - and if you put her into the cot every time she does it?

Do me a favour and explaing that nanny thing again? It's not happening. He will eat something, get distracted and start moving. He is exhausting - doesn't stop wanting to touch, smell, taste, look, crawl which is way more important than his food. And the mess!!

The eating saga continues. I tried him on porridge this am - wasn't interested. As usual I gave in and gave him a yoghurt instead =( There are mornings where I will go through up to making 3 breakfasts before getting to one he will eat. Guess that's pretty bad..and this is after cutting out day feeds and even reducing his am and pm feed so he is on 550ml.

Job wise as you can tell my time on Moomie has increased somewhat =) I am a project manager (IT industry) and typically have up to 3 projects on the go but in this particular instance the size of the project prevented me from taking more projects on. It came as a huge shock when the plug was pulled due to financial difficulties of the company we were doing work for - we had absolutely no idea that this was even a risk...anyway such is life. I always plan for a scenario like this so do have time to look around - not that I'm feeling very motivated to do so at the mo..
