Hello Aug moms

My lb was born on the 29th of August 2008.
He also tells me when he has made a poo or even if he has made a wee, he will say mummy pee & point to his nappy. So I suppose they are more aware now that they have made something in there nappies.

I will also wait till after 2 years old or look for more signs than potty train my lb. I am in no rush.

My boy is also a chatterbox! But its so sweet & I also know most times what he wants. My boy drinks about 2 or 3 225ml bottles a day of Nido.

Im really enjoying this age! He makes me laugh with the weird / funny things that he does.

How are your lo's with eating? My boy can be so fussy at times. So most times I have to bribe him with Barney or a sweety afterwards than he finishes up all his food.

Erin was born a week late, by induction, weighing 3.72kg.

Her development is very good; she is good at climbing and using her body. Plus she's a little chatterbox, even making up stories by now! Eg yesterday she was telling me that her friend, Katy, burned Erin's bum. Which obviously concerned me, so when I asked her to tell me about it again, the story became that the doggy burned Erin's bum. Which doggy, I asked. The brown doggy. Makes absolutely no sense, I know but I love the fact that she's talking and is using her imagination! I think the fact that she's talking has also helped curbed the tantrums, as she can now express her frustration in a way that Mommy and Daddy can understand.

How are your tots sleeping? I still wish I could find a magic cure for the day nap...Erin will not sleep unaided during the day, even though she happily goes to sleep by herself at night.

And how much milk are your tots getting? Erin still gets a small bottle (+- 150ml) of Nido and a big bottle (+-260ml) at night. Is this too much at her age?

And how big are your LO's? Erin weighs close to 13kg now and people always remark that she looks older because she's also quite tall I think.

Hi there , Havana also not like a poo in her nappy now , but i think i am also going to wait for it to be warmer. Her new funny word is for tomato, she says Matata, with such an expression you could roll on the floor laughing and then she gives you a strange look like u crazy

Ethan has also lately started to make an announcment when he has made a "poof". Once very loudly in public So I think he is getting ready for the potty. But someone suggested that winter is not a good time to start training. Apparently at daycare they also do not do potty training in winter. So another few months of nappies....

hello mummies my LB was born 20/august 2008 en yes he throws big tentrums en i just look at him and laugh so he stand up and start to laugh, i am still trying to potty train though am lazy since iam 27weeks preggy. he hasnt thrown a tenry in public yet though.

lol, when i show my little one , i sit on the toilet but when i put her on , she screams blue murder , also going to wait closer to two , yet she does let me know when she is wet nowadays and also hates to poo and keep it there
