July 2009 Moms

Morning. I am on day 1 of my diet and am already starving. All I can think of is food and a nice cup of coffee with lots of MILK. All I'm allowed to have is coffee/rooibos tea without sugar or milk. Haven't even had it yet because it is disgusting.

Vision, I suppose it's not the best idea to diet while breastfeeding but I want to breastfeed for several more months and I just can't afford to buy a new wardrobe. So the weight needs to go. Will keep an eye on my milk supply but I am sure I will be eating healthier than when I am allowed to eat just what I want. If milk gets less, I'll just drink some wine. That does the trick.

Marilu, bly jy het bietjie slaap gekry en R kom darem môre terug. Goed dat julle weer op speaking terms is. Wat het jy en Mignione alles gedoen die naweek? Ek moes Saterdag wag vir mense om vir my te kom kuier en het later nie meer geweet hoe om N besig te hou nie. Omdat sy nog nie kruip nie, voel ek ek moet haar heeltyd besig hou, anders sit sy net daar en speel met dieselfde speelgoed oor en oor.

Whose babies are not crawling yet? Nienke doesn't look in the mood to crawl at all and I really, really want her to. She LOVES standing though and laughs hysterically if we let her stand at the table. When her legs gets too tired to stand, we have to keep her upright. I know she will enjoy a walking ring but then she will spend even less time on the floor and I really need her to first CRAWL.

Marijke, waar bly jou ouma? Bly B het so goed geadapt. My pa sê dis so vrek warm in die Paarl ook. Gelukkig is dit hier koeler, ek kan nie daai erge hitte vat nie. Ons het weer net 'n aircon in die kamer, so dis VREK WARM in ons tv-kamer.

Shame Charlene, ons alarm gaan ook so af as ons vergeet om die deur toe te maak, dan waai die gordyne. Dan skrik ek my amper dood en dan is dit niks.

Kiara, I also can't believe it is March. In three days I will be 27 years old!
