So sorry for being awol, just been a crazy day and the internet at work didn't want to connect. Drove me insane.

Update on our side: going very well, just VERY hot. Went with friends on a boat on the river yesterday. Was SO nice and Nienke was so blase about it. As if she grew up on a boat! Didn't even flinch. The people have a son her age and a 3-year-old who plays with a real KNIFE! Ja....anyway....

Lonie, hoop die week vlieg en jou hubby is gou terug by die huis. Ek was ook mal oor Redeeming Love. So 'n amazing book. Daar is nog een, waar die meisie swanger raak nadat sy verkrag is. Kan nie die naam onthou nie, maar AMAZING! Jy praat van body parts, tonight I asked Nienke "waars jou koppie" and she pointed at her head! I could not believe it, because I didnt teach it to her. She just knew it.

Sumayad, I would rather rest on a Sunday than go to a wedding!

Nadia, how is your new boss? I am also getting a new boss on 10 January. NOT looking forward to it. We are so set in our ways at work, I don't want someone new to order me around. I doubt I'll stand for it anyway.

Marijke, I have a sling like that. I used it with Nienks when she was a newborn and it was FAB. I also use it with her if we go to the park and I have to carry her. I love it!

Ag no Cinds! I saw you post last week about why this can happen and now it did! WHY? What did the doctors say? That is like losing your baby. Because it is already your baby. You plan for that baby and anticipate that baby's personality and features and love that baby so much. What exactly happened?
I am so so sorry for her loss.
