1 month to bekahs 2nd birthday

Hahahaha, had to laugh at my ticker now...Im growing a butternut

Marieb everyone says it is terrible 2's and they are just trying to establish boundaries etc. Like if you say no and they scream and you give in you are teaching them if you say no they just have to scream a little to get what they want.
I really think now is the time to persevere and set down the routine and rules. It will be hard in the beginning but you will be happy you did it later on.
I know sleep training is hard but when you are so desperate you have to try something? We never let bekah cry for ages - we just were strict and told her it is sleep time no compromise. I know you have been lenient because she has been sick though?

Bekah is awesome at night though - she knows the bedtime routine and sticks to it. My DH is strict with her and she listens to him so that helps. BUT yesterday I went to the shops with her. She threw 6 tantrums in less that 1 and a half hours. The first shop we went to she threw 2!! She goes mad if she does not get her way. She does not want to be in the trolley she wants to touch everything or play somewhere and when it is time to go all hell breaks lose. The screaming you talk about - she goes beserk. if I try pick her up she throws herself on the floor. I have everyone looking at me. I tried to just ignore her and let her know she is not getting what she wants but it is flipping hard. I am NOT taking her shopping again!!!!

Lizel you are soooo TINY!!!!!!! Glad all is well with the baby. Your friends wife is being selfish she should try to work things out especially with a baby coming!

Mari, alles lyk 100% met baba hy/sy al 6.10cm groot en vrek besig dr gesukkel om gemeet te kry. Ek voel soos jy ek wil opgee en ek begin al die aande haat. Ek gaan maar vanaand weer vir Zelri probeer later druk om te slaap maar sy is gewoonlik so moeg en moeilik.

Zelri is sleeping bad and I cant do the sleep training cause madam can open the doors she stands on her toes and open it. And I cant get it over my heart to lock the doors. I miss waking ip next to my hubby we have no time together anymore. And if she sleeps bad at night tomorrow is going to be a nightmare. She is then so tired and in a foul mood cause of the lack of sleep. So I give up

Morning everyone!

Last night was ALOT better. Migs went to bed at 20:00 and slept until 4 this morning. She wet herself TOTALLY and I had to persuade her that I must change her nappy and her clothes. Of course it made her scream hysterically After about an half an hour of her crying she went back to sleep. We all overslept this morning Even migs!! Was heaven!

BabyJap is Q sick at the moment? I'm kinda suspecting that Mig's has got ear infection?
Hope you hear back from the interview soon! Sounds like they're taking their time to decide?
