Private School or Govenment School?

Happy New Year to you all.

Roses, how does that work that Private School write Govenment Exams, so they get 2 certificates? I have checked the one I liked, Kingsmead College, Curro Aurora, Redhill School. They all did exceptionally well, as always!

I think one of the ladies asked about Edenvale High school, it appears that its still a good school academically (judging by the 2013 good matric results)

Did anyone check out the matric 2013 results? I see alot of private schools are now writing govt exams (Crawford/CBC Mount edmund/ Mccauley etc). I also noticed that the results are per SCHOOL, so now we can even check out how these schools really perform when compared with each other

I won't tell my dh though, because he thinks I'm jumping the gun (we still staying in Limpopo at the moment!). I just don't want my son to miss out on a good schooling opportunity because I was unprepared.

You are definitely not too early. Emily was down at 3 months! Good schools fill up quickly. I know a friend of mine was trying to help her friend register her daughter for 2015 and none of the private schools in our area had space!
