Private School or Govenment School?

Thank you ladies, its so hard to find good government schools, Im thinking of sending her to Ranpark Primary School, or Sharonlea Primary School as we stay close to these areas.

Do you mind sharing with me the school you are mentioned?
Going to have a baby in December, and will have to look for a daycare/creche/daymom when he is 5 months in May 2014.

I see you live in Northern Suburbs as well, can't find a way to PM you.
Please if you dont mind letting me know your experiences with schools around the area. Google is not really helping much.

We also want to do the same. He'll be going to a government primary school and a private high school. I think the discipline issues at primary school are still controllable and you can intervene easily when your child struggles a little bit but high school becomes way tougher. Problem with government schools the feeder area rules. Make sure you can get them into a good primary school.

There's a lovely new private school that has opened up in the Northern Suburbs of CT that goes from 3 months old all the way up to matric and costs the same as government schools.

I hope you are well, My daughter is starting school in 2015, and would love to take her to a private school, but am not sure I could afford it from Grade 1 up to Grade 12.
so I was thinking i could put her to a good government Primary School and Private school for the high school.

what I would like to find out is: is it better to put them to a private school for the primary to get a good foundation, or put them to a private high school so they get good Matric result and can have an opportunity to study abroad.


I would love to get other parents views and those with School going children too.
