Thank you Dinky, Curro Aurora is actually one of the Schools on my list that I like, with Brescia House, Cooper College and Chaterhouse School.

Bandile have a look at Curro Aurora. That is where we are sending Emily.

They take them from 2.5 (potty trained) up until matric.

We were very impressed and the fees aren't astronomical.

Get in now though coz they don't have alot of space for 2015.

Great, Babin daycare might be an option as husband works in Stellenbosch.
Will check it out.
Could not find their website though.

p/s - Sorry bandile for hijacking your thread here.

Shurainian, this is the school I mentioned. It's called the Meridian school: www.curro.co.za/schools/Western-Cape/Meridian-Pinehurst.aspx

I've heard from a friend of mine that it's actually cheaper to send her children there than it is to send them to Eversdal + aftercare (which is a government school).

Another friend of mine just moved her 3.5 year old there and she is extremely happy. It's an English only school though, but my friend is actually Afrikaans and was having trouble finding a school for her daughter so they made the switch and sent her there regardless of the langauge and she's really really happy.

I've only heard good things about it so far, though I haven't yet been to see if. Definitely considering sending my son there at some point though need to decide when exactly to move him. Will either be middle of next year or the year after. I am extremely happy wtih his current creche though so it definitely won't be this year.

Given that you child is not yet born though I would definitely look into it because if you like it you can enrol him/her once as a tiny baby and then they just stay there forever basically. Definitely takes the hassle out of looking for new schools every few years as they outgrow their current schools.

My son is currently at Babin daycare centre in Stellenbosch. It has 3 campuses - Babin Babies (0-3 years), Babin Junior (3-4 years), and Babin Senior (5-6 years and includes grade R). I absolutely love it and he is soooooo happy there.
