January 2010 for all moms

Hi ladies,

I did the 5km CANSA BIG WALK this morning and it was such a lot of fun. We did it as a team effort at work so about 6 of us got up this morning and we joined the race for this worthy cause. Now I have another medal to place on my shelf. and after that I had to come back to work so will only see my little angel at 3pm.

I hope you ladies are all having a nice weekend and that you get spoiled. Its my birthday next week Sunday and Hubby has promised to get me a Blackberry for my bday. MMMM will have to see how it plays out.

Let me know how the 10km went as I cant even make 10cm without being tired and falling down!!! I think it might also have to do with the smoking...

Sam glad to hear that it appears to be "normal" behaviour. Was getting worried there. It's so weird isn't it and then they make you feel so bad about going!! I'm actually going to have to have a real heart to heart with him as I don't even think he's even aware how bad it is. I actually only kind of realised what this neediness was about when it kind of just got expressed when I was writing on Moomie. On the other hand of course it is endearing to see these men turn into such incredible softies.

Sam forgot that Logan and Liam are "twins" Poor Logan - apparantly they can come out in a rash a week afterwards.

So any plans for the wkend. I'm off to run my 2nd 10km tomorrow eish! I must be mad - have this very pushy friends who I can't say no to as she accuses me of chickening out - can't have that!

Ethansmom - I'm holding thumbs for you, also on the job hunt currently. Lorelai does not like veggies she also prefers fruit. good luck with the 9 month injection, Lorelai screamed blue murder!!!

Juno - The November Moomie day we have to pay before or on 1 nov and send proof and details to Jana. OMG Juno, has this just started with DH or have it been like this since birth?

Sam - Shame yes they do get a little sickish after the injections.

Hi Ladies,

I took Logan for his 9 month jab yesterday and he has been so weepy since then we didnt have a good nite at all shame i feel so sorry for the babas but these shots are necessary.

Juno - Sorry about your DH my DH is the same its almost as if he is afraid he's going to miss out on something if he doesnt go with us everywhere he doesnt even want me to take logan with me to a Kitchen tea next weekend because he cant go with, he is really starting to give me a pain now.

Kyoto that's funny. It was the other way round with me. I met my partner when he was up from CT I keep on forgetting that you are with Luke all the time. Do none of your staff look after him for any period of time during the day?

My partner is a DIY kinda man. We are in a permanent state of building it seems to me! But otherwise no hobbies - he's a complete workaholic. He's also a much older (12yrs older than me) dad so maybe that's got something to do with this "can't let my son out of my sight" kind of behaviour. It also didn't help that when I wrote off my car Liam was in the car with me...

No not going to the U2 concert - don't really enjoy outdoor concerts like that not unless I'm in a more isolated area like a box and don't think that's going to happen. Love U2 though.
