Charl – thank goodness for guardian angels..even if it didn’t happen just the mere threat of what could have been is just about as traumatic. Really terrible being told that your child could have died and pretty harsh that the doc told you this so hope you’re ok. I can’t even tell you if any of Liam’s soft toys have plastic eyes – just goes to show. So pleased to hear that Lorelai is doing so well otherwise. I didn’t know that about the injections – interesting.

Lol I also first read that a grape got stuck in Logan’s ear but then realised that it just did not sound right!

Sam absolutely – knowing which battles to pick is a great skill to learn! Just makes life a little easier to bear. So how long is she actually staying with you?

I was married 2 months after you – it’s our 3rd in Dec What did you do? Riebeck Kasteel was lovely – it’s such an arty little town full of very eclectic people – love it. We have friends who live there and went for a braai. Hmmm small teeny weeny hey lol

I totally relate to the constant buying – I blew my budget a while back! Not that that has stopped me…Purchases for myself have dropped drastically.

Kristin hi! That has happened to me once too often so I type in Word and then copy. Lol when do they stop wanting to taste everything?? Isn’t it just absolutely amazing to witness their growth – noticing those little things every day. I love it.

Sigh looks like Liam is by far the most behind baba Yes I know I know I shouldn’t compare and that he is absolutely fine it just gets a bit disheartening at times which is so not fair on him..

So I introduced him to the sippy cup today and he did just fine. Needed some help with the handles at times but otherwise he coped quite well. He also tasted fish for the first time today. He is exactly 10kgs now. What is the weight of the other baba’s as a matter of interest?

I only had 1 child over the weekend... Amandalynn was with my mom so i only had 1!!!!

Charlotte having 2 sick kiddies over the weekend must've been tough. Shame man.

Juno glad that DH managed to get the paw paw out. Hectic!

Casandra is doing really well. Crawling like a pro. Motoring around chasing after the cats. We have to keep the bathroom door closed or she'll motor in there and start playing with the toilet brush or chewing on the toilet seat. She is pulling herself up on everything and almost standing unsupported. Still no teeth! She is learning all the time and it is so cool to watch. She knows to duck down when reaching for something under the table and can retrieve things from awkward places.

I must admit that I'm finding this stage quite awkward and can't wait until she is walking. I went to a big kids party on Saturday and she had to sit on my lap practically the whole time. I can't put her down because she'll crawl off, and she'll get stood on. She gets frustrated and bored sitting on my lap for long periods. So I think walking might be easier. Also then she'll be bigger.

I see they advertise some nice toys in the Living and Loving and ToysRus booklets. eg push and pull toys, carts with harsnesses and very nice educational toys. There goes my budget!
