Ster - proper sleep training starts at 2 months, but for the rocking u are doing - you should stop that now if u dont want to be doing that all the time!!
Just put her in the crib. If she cries, put the dummy in her mouth and pat her. And if she becomes hysterical, pick her up, calm her and put her down again

Vix - we are having such financial problems with DH's company!!! they owe us close to R25 000!!!!!
So we basically have no money here (I have $200 to keep us going until we get the rest of that money) so I cant be spending money on massages or anything...
I do have the name of a lady who does pregnancy massage - so just waiting to get the funds for it. and DH is a real a$$ sometimes (most times lately) and wont massage me. arg man I really dont like DH at the moment!

Meags - I love your house and M's nursery is so cute. Shame man, it is terrible when DH is travelling and especially now that you are alone - at least you have us to keep you company!!!!
Time is running out for you now - one of these days the pain will be gone and you will have your LO in your arms!

I have a question - when can I start sleep training with Inge? She is rocked to sleep every time and as soon as she is put down she is awake. I don't want to start a habit that is hard to break and / or to maintain once I am back at work.

Meags- so sorry you're so alone Meags, it really really sucks! And that rib pain, well hun I agree it really is the pits as you know I suffered badly with it and almost nothing helped except a good back massage seemed to ease it a little. Maybe you should book yourself in with a physiotherapist this week while DH is gone? Just choose a hunky one so you have eye candy while DH is away! Xxxx

well it's 5am here and I cant sleep any longer. the friggin rib pain...
you know I'd be happy to carry this baby even past my due date. But with this pain and the lack of sleep, I am so trying everything to have him out by 38 weeks. It's really unbearable now.
knowing my luck i will go over due...

DH is going to Germany tomorrow for 1 week. I am dreading it. what the hell am I suppose to do here all on my own?!
I dont know anyone!!!!

Maryke - how are the boys?

Mina, my babies are the same, especially Athena, and Iv been using the saline drops, but like you say it seems to deep to bring it out. Athena even vomits because of it.

O boy what a night. I think Bernice is getting a cold or something she is so blocked up with mucus that my poor little baby cant sleep. I used sterimar and illiaden, but she is still struggeling. Any advice?? She is 7 weeks on Friday and weights 5.66 and is 55cm long.

Chris - I hate the phlegm. I try to thin it with the sterimar and then suck it out with a squeezy thingy but it seems that its to deep for me to reach. My heart brakes to see her suffer like this.
