They could have got the gastro from anywhere. Just takes 1 hidden germ in a bottle teat or on a dummy and voila! sick baby. They are just so prone to gastro when they little.

Mina my mom is coming 3 days before my due date - but I really hope Matt is born by then. She is coming for just over 3 weeks and it would really suck for her to spend that time here with Matt still inside! She would enjoy it so much more actually being here and spending all that time with him than just waiting for him...
Plus I want him out by 38 weeks cos I dunno how much more of the pain I can handle...

Chris - dont say you STILL have that rib pain!! I am really on my last threads with it and ready to literally pull my hair out. Between that and ONE spot in the middle of my back - I cant sit, stand or walk for more than 10 minutes now without almost breaking out in sweat from the pain.
Plus I think he's trying to engage so I am enduring that lovely pelvic/period pain now too

Maryke hope they will soon be much better - this can't be easy - thinking of you girl!

AFM - DH is in my good books - bought a portable aircon today - so now i can have a cool room/kitchen or wherever i want as well and not just in the livingroom, Cause with baba i spend more time in my room now with her cot being next to my bed. Got a cot in her room as well but why would i sit there if i got a tv in mine
My feet are still getting tired quickly - wonder why...i'm used to being up on my feet the whole day -weird. And i'm only 10kg over my weight now (well that's whats left of the 20kg i've put on during pregnancy)

MommyN i did the sleep training with my LB as well from early age of i think from about 2weeks/2months - well i know it was 2 something lol...
Could be from 2months, he did fell asleep as soon as i started vacuming the house as well. i See now that when Kayden sleeps i can vacuum as well and she does'nt wake up. Wonders of Whitenoise i Also believe not to raise them in silence. No one has to lower their voices.
MommyN you hope feel better soon - my bleeding has stopped as well - when i was flowing heavy the other night i started crying not knowing whats going on or why so late after birth and trying hubby to help and bring me the right stuff (he was getting impatient)- i tell you these hormones of mine has never been so "deurmekaar".

Ok, so Athena has not been good, she hasn't been drinking her milk properly, I phoned the clinic and they said to try put her on the Novalac AR (anti reflux), she said what she thinks it could be is the acid build up that makes her complain so much and doesn't drink (she cries and complains and throws her head back while trying to feed her), she said she doesn't always havbe to vomit after her feeds, but while she drinks she always sticks her tongue out as if wanting to vomit, we will see how it goes through the night, if she manages to drink, otherwise I must phone the paed tomorrow.

Meags, aaah, the rib pain!! i still have rib pain, lol, if I do something funny or stretch it feels like itclicks on the left side, like it sort of overlaps, all because of my my darling Alexia. Take the time to rest while hubby is away, it wont be nice, but you must rest as much as you can.

MommyN, as you see, not that great, my little girl not so great, and on anotehr formula (well, still novalac range). DH got the chamiflor today so will use it tomorrow, I used the sterimar bebe, but i dont like how it sprays, its just too much (i think) so for now I have been using the bennets saline drops. Also got the cream for Alexias face, I put a little on one spot tonight to see if there is any reaction, hope not as its gone on to the top of her back/neck, its gettign better, yet worse at the same time, if that makes any sense?

Mina, Iv got some karvol too, I should try it.

The boys have gastro, have no idea where they got that from...Aiden started hyperventilation from the fever hence the oxygen his fever is rocketing up again it was 38 at 3 and now at 6 it was 39 they are giving him about 5ml of panado he is stil on oxygen, Llewellyn had 17 stools since 7 this morning and only vomited once but they are very pale and lethargic...

Ok bit of gastro llewellyn has had 17 poo naps since 7 this morning, aiden not as bad his is working and stil on oxygen. The boys will be staying in hospital tonight.

Maryke - Thinking of you! Hope it is just the jabs and that you would be home soon.

MommyN - Glad you are starting to feel better. All will be just fine, time heals everything!

Meags - I feel so sorry for you girl. I can imagine how it must feel to be so alone and aspecially in a time when you need familier company the most. Thinking of you and hope the money issue will be sorted soon so you and little Matt can go shopping when he is born. Will your mom be there for the birth?

Chris - Bernice also vomit a mucus texture. Will try some karvol to keep the nose open during the night
