Mina im with you on the sleeping. My oldest Arwen fell asleep on our lap till about 16 months then didnt want to anymore from there it was bed time by herself, hubby said it broke his heart when she didnt need him anymore. He cant wait to bottle feed Vanya so he can hold her at bed time.

Meags just hold on your almost finished, the baby will be here before you look again.

Maryke - I hope DH will be back in time for the birth. He is only gone for 1 week so realistically since 1st babies usually come late - there shouldnt be any risk.
But I've been feeling 'funny' for a few days now. diarrhoea on and off. just not feeling normal. getting sharp crampy period type pains when Matt moves. I really dont mind if this is all preparation for the birth - but he must just wait another 8 days....

Chris - that feeling like the ribs is catching under the other ones and then clicks out? I had that before being pregnant!! How horrible is it! However, when it does click out, it is instant and fantastic relief!! I often got it if I sat bending forward for too long

Maryke - Glad the boys are better. I know you want them home but its better if they are healthy when coming home. I had that same thing with my oldest, she is know 5years. She said I only love her baby sister so I explained to her that I love all of them but because babas cant talk and are still very small they need alot of atention. Try giving her a doll wich is her baba. How old is she?

Ster - Good luck with sleep training. I did it with my oldest with sucsess but not with the second nor will I do it with the baby. "Persoonlike voorkeur" I feel they grow up so fast and before you know they are out of your arms and out of your house. DH said as long as they still wanna sleep in his arms or on his lap, like my 5year old still do, he will be glad. All they need at this stage is love and comfort I know its tyring cant imagine how it must feel with 2 or even 3 but for me and my 1 baba this is working. I think because its my last one I want to keep her small and close to me as long as possible.

Vix - I will be glad if you can try and put on some pics. Will ask DH to show me how to resize the photos over the weekend.

We had a better night last night, Bernice slept next to me and I think that made her feel more comfortable. My GP told me to give her 1.5ml of clarityne syrup. If I could only get rid of the mucus. Her right eye is also red and "tranerig"

Did anyone of you heard that it will belp to put a few drops of breastmilk in their nose, and does it help?

So, the wise cracks (in all the magazines) that said you cannot spoil a child before 4 months is surely talking a lot of crap. I tried the sleep training late yesterday afternoon (Inge normally has a nap around 16:00) and boy did she perform. After her 18:30 feed she fell asleep in my arms (without rocking - I was sitting quietly) and I put her down just after 19:00 in her room. She was sleeping for about 30minutes and then started crying. I fetch her after a while and eventually she went back to bed at 21:30. Slept till 12:00 for a feed and then again at 02:30 and again at 06:00. i will implement the sleep training full force from today as DH is writing exams today and I didn't want to interup his studying last night.

I am going to the shops later to look for the baby sense lala CD - I am cracking the sleep training this weekend!!!!

AFM- the boys are well, going to email the paed about theoir weight cos it's really not picking up as fast as all the other twins and trips.

Ai I have a bit of a situation with frances-jane she told my mom last night we don't love her anymore we only love Aiden and Llewellyn shame when I went home at 1 this morningwhen granny took over the morning shift she was sleeping in our bed and she saw me she was so happy she just said mommy you back you didn't leave me I just felt like crying and she fell a sleep with a smile on her face my poor little girl she is getting the wrong side of the stick at the moment...

Boys are doing fine the fever is down I think the antibiotics is kicking in and the two doses of panado, but there poos are still runny and now bloody, waiting for pead the results have come back so we will know what is happening, the mulbarton pead sections is chock and block full with gastro so it's def in the air...

I told the pead that I gave them rooibos with the radurised honey in it and she said a big NO for the honey even tho it is radurised only from a 1 year they can have honey, she says they use the honey as a laxative for infants if they are constipated and she is happy with the porridge they get in there one bottle so she is very happy with the boys growth and general health. They can't give them anything to stop the tummy cause she says that can start a whole different senario the bug just has to work it self out, shame you can just imagine how sore there little bums are

Mina at night I put the boys down in there cot and propfeed them with there bottle they drink and I take the bottle out then I just pat there bum gently then softer and softer and softer and then I stop they still a bit drowzy and then they eventually fall a sleep, if they do wake up and cry I first try and sooth with the dummy and patting the bum again but if that doesn't work I pick them up rock them a little till they are calm again put them back in the cot and start patting the bum till drowzy again then I leef them some nights they fall asleep straight away other nights it takes about 2 or 3 attempts, I let them sleep the morning sleep in there bouncers cause that's just a quick nap then at about 11 or 12 I put them in there cots for the long nap and then the two late afternoon naps I have them in there bouncers again and then between 6 & 7 I put them down for the night

I am also a pro noise mommy just better in the long run the only time it's ssshhhh time is the night time when I put them down but only in there room the tv still on Frances-Jane still screaming but there room is quite and no talking to the bubs hubby still can't figure that part out the he wonders why they don't want to sleep when he has them funny man...

Vix you still getting afternoon naps? How's the colic with Jono going?

MommyN I am also still spotting with the merina in it stopped for 2 weeks then all of sudden it's like a period then stops then now just spotting not lekker I think I have used more pads and panty liners in the last 3 months then I ever did in the last 3 years

Shame meags, hang in there, you're almost done! I dont have rib pain anymore, but it just feels funny, feels like it clicks or something, its more of an awkard feeling than pain.
