What did your dr say?

Chris- thanks hun, i managed to get it back down to 120/70 when i phoned Dr again at 2:15, haven't checked in a while now so will maybe try again. It's like if i lay down my BP shoots up and if i get up and walk around it drops again, very odd.

Vix, just monitor yourself for any swelling or somethng, your bp sounds very high.

Sterretjie- ag, it's not like I've pulled muscles or anything and I promise I really am calming down as much as my mind can handle.

O.k so Dr said he can't really say without seeing me what's wrong but to try some citro- soda and see if it's better tomorrow, if not then I need to see him before Friday because he's concerned leaving it to monday might be too risky incase of prem labour. Even he said it's not like he can suggest bedrest because that's when the pain is at it's worst.

Chris - that is so funny re your sister being the father. We have a gay guy at work that got married earlier this year and found a surrogate and with their first IVF she fell pregnant with twins. The two boys are about 6 months old now. And as Vix says you cannot presume anymore.

A couple of years ago my DH and my friends DH were working away and the two of us decided to go house hunting on a Sunday. The looks we got - one lady asked us straight out if we are gay. We had a good laugh and decided to stop with our house hunting on a Sunday

Not much more from me. I told DH there is no way I am waiting for the New Year to have Inge (going back to the discussion of waiting for her to be born in January as this will help with school etc). I am sticking to the dates of the 24th to the 28th of December and even the idea of having Inge on DH's birthday (24/12) might become a reality. Just sounded very cheesy in the beginning but hey, I can live with that!!!!! Even DH said last night that my tummy feels as if it is going to explode - rock hard.

Dr is busy still consulting so I have to phone back in an hour but I just took my BP and I'm getting 145/95 which I think is quite high because the highest I ever had was 120/70 so I'm pretty sure something isn't right. The babies are dancing on my cervix and it feels like it might 'pop' LOL
