Wanted to mention before, but keep forgetting. With my LG I had a LOT of water retention and swelled like a balloon from about 20 weeks. This time round nothing. I do look puffy, but just the normal pregnant puffy, not the swelling kind.

Also when my water broke with my LG, there was alot. And I had water coming out right till I gave birth 7 and a half hours later (very irritating I might add)

Wonder what my birth will be like this time round?? Are you girls also a little afraid? First time round I did not want to do any research on births as I wanted to experience it first hand. Now that I know how it goes, I am kind of scared (alot)

Jessica- congrats on winning the name game LOL Are you feeling like Riley will come early? Is he a big brute?

Oh wow, you girls will hate me but i have picked up 1kg since i was TTC LOL and i have 2 babies weighing over 1kg each now LOL I don't know why (although could be how my body reacts to carrying boys I'll never know about a girl) but same with my last pregnancy, i just seem to loose weight when pregnant and i eat worse when pregnant, my usual food plus sweeties and nice treats all the time. When i found out i was having twins i was sure i would gain 20+kg but there's no way i can gain 19kg in the next 8 weeks.

Chan- yay for the nursery things arriving! you must be sooooo excited! I'm going to start setting up the cots in Nov so that i really have nothing else to do and can be LAZY!

Asp - don't worry too much about the weight gain, like you say you carry big babies. I've also gained too muh weight already- 8kg on my last gynea visist at 20w! And LG only weighs about 500g now. I just say I'm not only growing a belly forward, I'm growing sideways and all round! DH just says everyone carries differently, he's mostly supportive but reminds me that I will have to lose the weight after LO is her - ai ai - like I don't know that.

Vix - glad you enjoyed the massage, sorry the rib pain is still there. You look good though. Saw the pics on FB for the joint baby shower. And Geesh Nelria looks so slim!!

Asp - I don't think I have you as a FB friend do I?

Chan - yippie - glad the furniture and accessories are eventually being delivered!

MommyN - I'm so with you about the swollen feet and ankles - I don't recognise my feet any longer! All puffy with little sausage toes!

LOL I might have to start pushing my way into this group more often as I have a feeling I might be a Feb mom rather than a March one.

And the baby's name is now DECIDED!!! And I got my way again! LOL Riley Alexander Richardson will be a great little brother to Bryce Donovan Richardson.

Awhh shucks girls, thanx for making me feel alot better already. I know I am being silly, but ja, this too shall pass.

Vix, sorry to hear that the rib pain hasn't subsided. Must be a real pain (hie-hie). But I must say that you are carrying the twins with such grace, you should be really proud of yourself and your body.

Mommy, I see your LG is 13 months old. My LG is 10 months now, and will be a little over 13 months when her brother arrives. I am so happy to know I am not alone is having 2 under 2 and they are not twins

And yes, I know "I'll sleep when LO naps". Somehow that never works out. Whenever I finally have my LG down, the tiredness seems to have long gone. But as soon as she is awake again, she makes me tired all over. She is only crawling now, but such a busy body. Nothing interests her for more than 5 minutes at the most and then she is off. Can't imagine her walking - she is already so fast on all fours!

Morning ladies! Thank goodness it's Friday! Been one hell of a long week!

MommyN i'm also swelling up around my ankles in the evenings. And the veins in my legs are getting worse. GROSS!! But doc assures me after the birth it'll go away - it freaking better!

Asp I know the feeling of getting frustrated about peoples comments. I'm constantly told how huge I am and it's starting to piss me off now! I've picked up 6kgs in almost 30 weeks so I don't think i'm doing too badly. I can't help my baby's big. But I must be starting to look big now because last night Kyra said jeez mom your tummy doesn't even look like its part of your body anymore it's so huge now! And this morning DH came and gave me a hug and was rubbing my tummy and said love where is this tummy going to! Oh well - all for my healthy beautiful baby boy!!

Carmen - beautiful pics!! Quite a little acrobat you've got there!!

AFM all our bedding and accessories arrive for the nursery tomorrow!! Finally - after 10 weeks!! And they're putting in the built in cupboard on Tuesday so by next weekend our whole nursery will be finished with all the cupboards packed!! I can't wait i'm so excited! And i'll have all the goodies from my baby shower to pack in! There are 32 people coming! Gosh we're going to get loads of things - spoilt little Karate kid!!

Asp- i think you look stunning and i just love your big bump, it's so gorgeous! Try not to worry what other people say about your bump, i feel that as long as DH finds me attractive during pregnancy which he does, that's enough for me. I'm actually getting opposite comments like "twins, oh you're very small for twins" or "are they small babies?" which at this current stage in time is not really what i need to hear but i'm not letting it get to me, as long as the babies are healthy who cares how big one carries.

I have a friend due her 2nd baby in Nov/Dec and it's a HUGE baby like her 1st but she has the most perfect small bump, i wouldn't even say she was smuggling as much as a soccer ball. We all carry differently, that much i have learnt.

MommyN, Kimika & Meags, how was your coffee date on wednesday?

The massage was nice, 1 hour was not nearly enough but can't afford to go too often at R260 per hour so will have to stick to DH's 2min specials. I can feel the rib ache starting now again actually, sh1t this stupid fall really messed things up for me again!

MommyN- i went to the Chiropractor after having C because everything in my body was just in a terrible state from the adjusted posture i had been using during pregnancy. I think i will be needing that again after the twins!

Carmen- so pleased that the FA went well and you can now complete your pregnancy as relaxed as possible with the knowledge that you have a perfect little angel on the way.
