hi girls. hope you are all well.

chris - chin up chick. it'll all be over soon. pregnancy is tough especially on the emotions. but for you being your first pregnancy, it must be really really hard to see your former sexy bod get so big, so fast. i still battle with this. these babes are an awesome gift from the Lord - you got 3 because He knows you can handle them. i got one because that;s all i can have on my plate right now :) thinking of you xxx

vix - woolies has these playsuits for R19-95. go and get some (alot) for your babes for next summer. you will be glad you bought bigger sizes too! i bought 6 sets for ashley for her to play in or sleep in. and i think the ackermans TINY BABY growers are ideal. i have bought 2 white ones so far! yay! this poor tot has something to its name!

asp - awesome compliment to boost your self-confidence! nice one girlie, hope you enjoyed it.

i saw my midwife today and she is accepting me as a client. YAY! rules for vbac are that i may not be in the water because i have to have the straps on my tummy right through the labour. was a little stressed about that truth be told, but then she winked at me and said "if you don;t tell Dr Dumbrill, i won;t tell him either", so please hope and pray that i have a night labour because then he won;t be in and out to check on me. vix, i told her that he may NOT look down there either :) blind.
she also suggests that i take off from 35 weeks. i went into prem labour at 35 weeks with ash, but it fizzled out over 48 hours. she was still born at 36 weeks.
chris - the midwife felt my tum and asked me why i didn;t tell her i was having TWINS!!!!!!!!!! how is that??? she said my uterus's fundal length is 30cm which is huge! i kindly thanked her for her tact. but she was convinced for a while she was feeling 2 heads. went for a quick scan at my customers, and there really is only one babe inside. hahaha

chan - how are you doing today? hopw you are all good.

carmen - and you?

Meags - I'm in for sat 13th Nov. Chris, hope you can make it! Aren't you in Benoni area? Can't we do it somewhere on East Rand close to you? Just a suggestion?

Chris - hope you are feeling a better now than earlier. Vix - its so true about the TTC and preND. I too am working hard every day to stay positive! For me, the whole pregnancy was such a shock and although so wanted, just crazy! After TTC for 3 or 4 years with Missy and then without even trying, to fall preggies again so soon!

Asp - thats such a nice compliment, that you are the prettiest lady of the evening! Now keep glowing and wear the crown for the rest of us that are feeling "not so pretty" at the moment!

Hi all

I got to go home early - yay!

Chan - glad the scan went well - hope you get to have the natural birth you want, and that your lb is not too big.

Chris - feel better soon, Vix has made some very profound statements that make alot of sense.

Vix, it is so true that with those of us that have had difficulty ttc our expectations are high and we set ourselves up to be overwhelmed and potentially depressed. It's for that reason that I have no expectations and try and take each day as it comes.

Asp - sounds like you had a good evening filled with compliments.

MommyN- glad you had a better night.

Thanks again, I am feelign bit better, I know in the beginning I was feeling the same and I soon got over it, so hoping I will feel better soon.

Meags, I'm free, but will see closer to the time if I can make it, if I can drive (or hubby drive me) and if I can still wobble around :)

Asp, nice for you on the comments, its nice to hear nice things as it always boosts our feelings/emotions, ladies compliment... after they have they have said how huge/big i am.... then they say Im actually not that big for 3 (dont think they really know what pregnant triplet ladies look like). But iv prayed about it and I will feel better, it is such a blessing and miracle that I need to keep reminding myself.

Meags, i'm in for the 13th Nov and preferably child free just because it's a good excuse for a break from my toddler! Saturdays DH can at least babysit, might be my last child free coffee date for a long time!

Chris- they do say aswell that women who have TTC for a very long time are prone to PND or preND because they have such high expectations then suddenly it all becomes overwhelming. I suffered a bit of preND and i think accepting that made it a bit easier for me to see i was suffering PND which helped me talk about it. It's probably just the whole experience in general that is a bit overwhelming for you so try not to feel bad about feeling this way, allow yourself to feel emotional just don't allow yourself to get scared of what it will be like, fear is probably the worst emotion because it'll make you feel worse.

Asp- good for you on the comments, i have noticed aswell that when i wear black everyone tells me how small I'm carrying LOL

Hi Girls

So last night we went to a meeting of a social club we belong to in JNB. I wore my "little black pregnancy number" and got so many complements. Can you believe one lady even went a far a telling me I was by far the prettiest girl in the room (we were about 80 people!)

So yes, for all the insensitive people out there, there are also some really nice people who can let a 20kg overweight pregnant woman feel so special. Oh, and Hubby really enjoyed the complement aswell since I always tell him he is talking crap when he tells me I look pretty :P

Chris, hope you are feeling better! Being pregnant is definately not easy, and yes, it is scary. Even the second time round I am shit scared. But the Dear Lord has chosen you to create such a miracle - actaully 3 - and you are so special. You are going to cope so easily, you'll see. I really aren't the best Mommy material, but it comes so natrually that you can't but be amased.

Oh, and for the emotional bit -we all go through that. Me about once a week. 2 weeks ago I was so ubhappy with Hubby for various reason (food being one ;) ) and I cried on my mommy's shoulder for about an hour. Also tried to sleep in the spare room, but needed the aircon and had to sleep in our room later on! But eventually we carry on and Hubby would "pull up his socks" and pull his weight till next time. Men will always remain idiots in a certain sense, and they will never fully understand what a woman goes through being pregnant and being a mom! I always try and count the times my Hubby actually tries, because I know he'll never get it right :silly:
