Morning ladies,

i was definaetly tired yesterday but thankfully my boy slept through last night allowing mommy to wake up refreshed this morning! yay!

I went to a wedding on saturday but it was definitely the biggest balls up i have ever been to so won't stay on that topic long..............

Yesterday i had a joint baby shower with another 2 preggy moms of my Oct/Nov 2008 mommies organised by all the un pregnant Oct/Nov 2008 mommies LOL wow that was a mouthful! it was great and the tweenies were thoroughly spoilt! But it was flippin hot in PTA yesterday and although i didn't feel it at the time when i got home i realised i was totally knackered.

Chris- wow sounds like your cousin had a very fast and not so stressful birth hey? i would love to have a pain relief free birth but i would really have to have a speedy labour with no time for drugs or I'll be screaming for them, I'm a big woosy.

I had a dream that i went in to labour and by the time i got to the hospital my Dr told me baba1 was crowning already so I might aswell have the twins naturally, it was actually a really nice dream although i know it will never happen that way

Asp, so glad you enjoyd the scan and got "confirmation" of the LB. I think Im feeling like you today, dog tired, my sister and I went shopping yesterday stuff for babies room and exchange a bunch of other stuff too. But at least most of its done now.

My cousin had her baby on Saturday am, the dr estimated her baby to be 3.3 and baby girl popped out at 2.3kg (39w), she is sooo cute. My cousin went into labour at about 4 that morning, she then bathed, shaved etc and they went to the hospital, the nurse put the fetal monitor on her and said, this is going to be a while, you haven't started dillating and then she left them, she was having cotractions and in some pain and walked to help ease the pain when she was really sore they called the nurse again who then tried finding the baby's heart beat and couldn't find it, she then checked lower and baby was already engaged, she was 9cm, they nurse looked at her confused and told her not to push, by that time she was so sore, just wanted to push and asked for some relief, it was too late and baby was out in pushes. But they are all oding well.

Had my other cousins baby shower on Saturday and after that my sister and I went to go do my registry, so I got alot done this weekend, just feeing the after effects now, its really just the bigger things now we need to get, like camp cots, pram, car seats, then everythign else I will wwait till after baby shower.

Morning Ladies

So, firstly we had an excellent scan Saturday. Heidi is really so good and worth the R580. First we DEFINATELY confirmed it was a LB. He even decide to hold his "tools" in his hand for a while - also confirming that he is definately Hubby's son

Then she went through everything, very in detail. We even got to see the 4 heart chambers. And got some cute pics. Adriaan seem to look a lot like my LG. I am imagining her as a boy, weird I know!

Will post some pics at 12h00 when I have access to photobucket and my internet isn't blocked.

I am dead tired today. We had a surprise birthday party for MIL yesterday at our place, and although I had my maid do all the cleaning, I really feel like shit today.

And I'm missing my LG again like crazy - I DO NOT LIKE MONDAYS!

Aspoestertjie, we are having the exact same problem with names.. our surname is *drumroll* - - - - - Smit .. uhh.. def does not go well with english names. And really there is just none of the afrikaans names that sticks with both of us! But I love Aiden/Aidan/Aeden. Also sounds like Adriaan and is not like some other English names that wont go with a afrikaans surname.

jessica - i had to chuckle at how you explained bryce's name... my son's name is cameran which means 'crooked nose' in scottish. crap he was horrified when i told him and he wanted to change his name shame, he's only 9! my name means YAK - a type of moose! hahahahahahha!
