Tried to post yesterday but it was such a busy day that I just ended up switching off my pc before typing anything!

Sterretjie I can't believe it!!!! Wow i'm so glad you're going for a 4D on Monday now - drink Coke and eat a Bar One before! Hopefully that works!

Hayley i'm so glad you've taken the next step and are seeing a specialist! It won't be long now before you can post about your BFP! Please pop in to let us know how it goes. Thinking of you friend!

AFM we've got our 28w scan on Tuesday and then our 4D scan on Friday! Can't wait for next week to see what our little boy looks like!!

And yesterday was so chaotic because I was test driving 2 new cars! Shoo what a mission to choose between them but finally have made a decision after very little sleep last night! So we've bought the Peugeot 3008 in black! Hopefully will get it on Friday! I'm so excited!

Sterretjie- My goodness girl, monday is ages away LOL I'm sure Heidi/isabelle will scan and scan until they get a shot of the sex for you! I would be going out of my mind by now. My one friend doesn't want to know the sex and i feel awful calling the baby "errrrr it" because I'm stuck for other terms LOL

It's hard enough not knowing which twins is which because with C i would always refer to him by name but now i can't name them until i see which looks like each name LOL

O.k will update appointments now...........

Vix - we couldn't believe that this little one still doesn't want to show us. I even asked my gyne if the legs have grown together only to find out that this could actually happen - it's called Mermaid Syndrome - but then there are no feet and this child does have feet.

Marie - The 4D company that I am using will be at the Baby Indaba but honestly I cannot wait until then. I have been very patient but we want to know now. I see you are also going to Sun City the weekend - are you going to Skouspel? We are also leaving for Sun City on Friday and we would be attending Saturday nights show

Mommy N - our hospital package 4D scan is booked for the 18nd of November but that is too far away. Heidi's partner's name is Isabel and she covers the Bedfordview / Kempton Park area. Apparently the office in Alberton has closed

Aspoestertjie - I drank a 500ml coke and ate a bar-one before we left and even though Peanut was active he/she still did not want to show us. When Vix suggested the 4D scan at 20 weeks I was so convinced that we would be able to see at 26 weeks but now I cannot wait any longer

Sorry, Lizelle, its Lizzy_J I see who is delivering in Pta. Lizzy - I am also in Pta and will be using Pta East Hospital - had a tour on Saturday and it looked good. Just a long walk from car park to maternity unit - especially if I go into labour...

Vix and Chris - regarding dummies and bottles - I totally agree, so many friends have "stocked up" and then the baba's dont want that teat or dummy. I got a free Pigeon dummy with the starter bottle kit and it really is a nice small dummy. Sarah has her Avent dummies, still the 2 she has had from the beginning and they are also not that big, I guess she should get bigger ones as she grows, but everytime I look at them, I decide just to leave it. THe paed said there is nothing wrong with her keeping her new born ones.

As for the pigeon bottles - they really are nice! Like Vix says, the teats are very realistic and dont leak. Although now they do when Missy shakes the bottle.... LOL... but she shakes it harder than I do to mix the formulae! They dont say BPA free or whatever, but I spoke to one of the managers at Baby City, and she found out from the rep that they ARE ok. She said all the more expensive bottles and better quality ones are ok, and you need to boil the plastic like 25 000 times before it breaks down! (Just in case anyone is wondering). My friend swears by the Tommy ones, I thought of getting some, but I have 5 Pigeon bottles which by the time LO gets to use them, hopefully Missy is onto a cup and off the bottle! Poor second baba gets all the pass on's!

Sterretjie - I think now that you want to know the sex, it must be very frustrating not to know! Hope you come right with the scan on Monday! Our 4d is on 26 Oct and included in the hospital package, I hope they are nice. With Missy I used that company that does them, I assume Heidi is part of it, they have franchises all over. And that lady was sooooo nice! She must have spent an hour trying to get good pics but it was the coldest day and then she made me come back in 3 weeks and again she spent at least half an hour and we got great pics at no charge for the 2nd visit! She is based in Alberton and goes to Bedfordiew and Kempton if anyone is interested. She was just so accommodating and friendly!

I am now excited for Thursday - to see our baba. She or he is doing summersaults ALL the time! I get up to go to the loo in the middle of the night and there's movement - they say 2nd one is sometimes more active. Missy was very quiet and calm and only I could feel her until the very end when you could see my tummy jump now and again if you were lucky!

Well, as i was with some of you on the TTC thread and im still there after 13 months of TTC... I have decided we need to do something about this either 'secondary infertility' or 'unexplained infertility' so i have made an appointment with Dr Hoogewind on Friday at 12:15, looking so forward to starting this journey and hopefully in a short time i can post my BFP...
