I drank some coke before, and also had a bar one (at 07h30 in the morning), which made little Adriaan very active (he responds well to Coke...). So we really had a good scan. But we have one 4D videon where he is holding his "little boy parts" in his hand, and we actually had to wait for his to let go before we could see (although Heidi already saw it was a LB)

So good luck, and please let us know ASAP on Monday (I'm becoming also as bad as Vix.... )

Thanks Aspoestertjie - I put 2 and 2 together from one of your previous posts. You have mentioned Heidi and on the 4D Scan website I saw Heidi and the Moomie sign and I thought it must be the same place that you went to. (hoe se hulle - 'n boer maak 'n plan ne?)

I manange to get a booking for Monday morning at 11:30!!!

A no, Sterretjie. Can't believe that you still havn't seen baba's sex. I went to 4d scan for my scan at the Baba Indaba. They are really very nice. It wasn't Heidi that did the scan it was another lady.


Well everything is still fine with me & boeta. He's just doing martial (spelling?) arts in my tummy. He's so active, Eduan wasn't this active. Cant wait for my scan on Thursday & then it's of to Sun City for the weekend.

Sterretjie- oh no! I'm so dissapointed LOL I was dying to hear what the sex is and when I saw your name I was sure you had posted a successful sexing LOL o.k I have no idea where to get a 4D scan from except I only hear great things about Heidi but it's R580 for the 1st scan.

Lizelle- I forgot to say yesterday, lovely cute boep you have there but yes it is quite low hey! Has your belly button popped already? Mine is still in but it is getting smaller and shallower by the day. I must say the aches and pains are starting for me too earlier than with C but then I'm nearly as big as full term with C already so I suppose that's understandable.

Chris- I keep meaning to say and only get around to remembering every night when in bed, I know you're also going to use dummies. I had trouble with C to get him to take a dummy for 6w, it drove me mad but I persevered. Last week I was looking at the Nuk dummies I used for C and I see they are enormous even compared to a cheap cherry dummy. I took out the pigeon dummy I had and I see the teat is way smaller than any other dummy so I figure it'll probably be a lot better for these small babies we're going to have so maybe take a look before buying dummies. I bought Nuk everything because everyone told me it was the best and my boy didn't like any of the range so I think rather buy a few of a make and if they like it DH can always go pick up more after the babies are here. Also my personal preference for bottle teat to try and avoid nipple confusion was the pigeon peristaltic nipple bottles, they are non leak so baby still has to actually suck like on the breast to get anything out which means they don't get lazy and prefer the bottle. I had C on the NUK at first because it's supposedly so nipple like but he used to gag and choke and still get colic, when I changed to the pigeon teats he was so much better and took back to the boob with ease. Everyone is different but just a few things for you to think about. A friend of mine bought 30 NUK bottles and her son hated them, that's like R3000 down the drain.

Sterretjie, wow, that really sucks! I would also have been crazy by now to find out!

I can really recommend 4D Scan, although I went in Pretoria. Heidi is really good and very thorough. If the JNB one is anything like the PTA one, it is well worth the R580!

But I know that Maryke is also somewhere in the JNB area, and she is much cheaper. I unfortunately don't have her number anymore. Megs did post it on here for me last week (if you want to try and look back). What I have heard from the girls, she is also really good.

Hope you are all well?

All well with Peanut. Currently 36.6cm tall and weighs 988gm. Unfortunately Plan A is obviously not working because even though Peanut was very active, wait for it - THE LEGS ARE STILL CLOSED!!!!

So were have decided to go with Plan B - can anybody recommend a good 4D scan? I know there are 2 places in J'burg (4D ultra sound & 4D Scan) however more phone numbers are welcome PLEASE.

I cannot wait until my next scan to find out the sex - I have been very patient until now, but now I want to know. DH was so disappointed. We are happy and grateful that everything else is going so well - we really just want to see the sex.....

AFM- well all i can moan about is the soreness and along with that...very uncumfy. Still don't know how it's possible with me not having much of a tummy. First Pregnancy was so easy and at this stage i had nothing to moan about....only from month 8. Seems like this time it's much different and i think the reason could be that baby is a bit low. But not nice while having a toddler to take care of and that only wants mommy to come fetch this or that for him.

Hope everyone else is doing ok.

I so miss moomie during the day (u girls) i'm one that normally wants to reply as soon as i see a message from each one of you, but are being blocked at work
