Asp, ag sooo sweet man!! Def a boy I just cant believe how different all babies look.. one would think on a sonar image a baby is just a baby but even now already you can distinguish his looks xxx

MommyN- that was a really nice dream on Friday but last night i dreamt that tweenie1 was pushing his foot out through my skin as if it was as thin as glad wrap LOL that was weird!

Wow, another scorcher of a hot day in Pretoria! 35 degrees again! Will I survive in December? I'll tell you, its hot hard work being at home! At least the washing is drying super fast.

Everyone seems fine. I think my aches and pains have really eased up, now I'm just getting bigger and bigger...

Asp - glad your scan went well. The pics are cute!

Vix - cool dream. It must be very calming on you and the Tweenies!

Chris - glad u got a lot done, you will feel more relaxed when you have certain things, and really, you only need the basics. I know no one wnats to run around with little baba's, especially with triplets, but there is always DH, family and friends to get things. So many of the gadgets are just luxuries!

Second time round is so different, I still haven't bought one thing! And I have still only received 1 gift for the LO - but I have looked around and there is even less this year in the neutral category. Would just like to get a going hom outfit, if I can get something neutral. Else, like last time, I'll leave it till a month before, and buy two outfits from Woolies and either one get recycled for a gift or I take it back (Woolies takes back for 3 months). Mom is on stand by to wash it and bring it to hospital - although with Missy, she was so small, she didn't fit into it so she went home in a A C Kermans R30 baby gro! I am just adament this baba will not go home in one of Missy's pass me down's. Funny how some things are ok and other things you are fixated on!

We have a gynae appointment on thursday - seems like last week we were there!

We had a hospital tour on Saturday. Wow Pta East hospital is really cool with visiting hours - day one, anytime - and ANYONE! Of course, in the normal maternity ward, not in the labour ward. From day 2 anyone, but during visiting hours (but they say they are not strict). DH and children no restriction. DH can even stay on chair in room, or if you book private room with couch, or private room with bed! I actually think some alone time is good for recovery. ANyway, DH will be with Missy! Going to be interesting - he has never changed a nappy or bathed her!

My labour with Missy was very fast, also bathed, shaved, painted toe nails then woke DH at 7 and first made him coffee while he showered and had a smoke (him not me). And then toodled off to hospital after morning traffic. I was also too late for any meds, and 3 pushes and little Missy was there! I am extra cautious this time round - my Mom was actually born in the car - and they had to cut cord and everything in car - ok it was a while ago, but the hospital was close by! On the tour on sat, the labour sister said this is where you spend the day in labour (for natural) and I just smiled, I hope not! I will have my bag, baba's bag, Missy's bag (day things) packed and my Mom has to have a bag packed too and scream over when I call!

Lol - my DH sropped me off at the entrance and left me to myself with Missy - he didnt believe I was in labour! He even left our bags and the camera in the car and then had to RUN ... I teased him on Saturday at the hospital - because it is quite a long schlep to the parking lot!

Carmen - am sure the week will go fast for you!

I think thats all for now. Oh, how I would love to have an ice lolly right now... but its too hot to even venture out! Must say ice and slush puppy cravings better this time round - iron levels must defnitely be better!

I really got a lot of outfits etc at my babyshower, and it is a shame that my LG did not even get to wear all of them! But I do think with three, you might want a lot!

I think people might be curious to see how a mommy of trips look

Oh, wanted to add that I always pictured that my birth would be like your cousin's, but after only the third contraction I couldn't even walk, let alone take a shower or anything. She really is lucky. My SIL had the same kind of birth, was over in about 2 or 3 hours. Unfortunately she now thinks that is how all natural births go (I just smile, nod and carry on)

BUT here's hoping for such a nice second natural birth

Yup, my cousin said that after the baby was out, the dr and the nurses all loooked at the baby and her and he said he cannot believe the baby was out already. So I think she was very lucky and fortunate. Would be wonderful to experience.

Il woek my weekends around the meet, but I think the first week in Nov is my baby shower. Im a bit nervous for it as there are so many ladies, and other ladies that have told my sister they want to go and I dont even socialise with them (my sisters collegues ??) lol, I have no idea where we are going to put all the stuff!! (Eish) But I think I might be home by then so can sit on the floor and sort out everything. HAHA, gonna be one funny stork party.
