Hi Ladies,

Hope you are all well?

No personals today - I have to blow off steam

So I took Inge to work today to show her to all at work. A number of people asked me "What is happening to Inge when I return to work" - my answer - "she is going to creche". Some took it well and others well, they decided to tell me in no uncertain times what they thought of me for allowing my little one to go to creche. Some mentioned a day mother. Now what really piss me off (pardon my language) is the fact that it is 1) MY CHILD; 2) I don't ask you a cent for my child's upbringing so who told you to tell me how to raise my child. If a creche is directly from hell why are there so many of them around? And if I do find a day mother for my child and her 16 year old son decide to experiment his sexual likes and dislikes with my child where are all these concern ladies going to be? Or if the day mother decide to go to Checkers and get high jacked along the way - will I then be made out as a bad mother because I did not consider sending her to creche.
I was really annoyed - sorry I have to vent

No seriousy, I thought Nathan was napping while Sarah was napping but now I'm feeding him! Hopefully he naps soon!

Had such a lovely day yesterday at the Expo, it was great seeing Vix and Jessica and meeting ClaireC (from March thread).

Yvette yes all is well, Kayden still sleeps alot during the day - i'm one lucky mommy and it's just getting better - her moody time wich is anytime after 18:00 - 23:00 is also getting better. The last 2 nights she went to sleep very fast. Think she only was a hour or so awake and not crying much - where other times she will scream the roof off.

Suhaila - the thought of getting confused with the Glyserine and Spirits has come to mind last week - what if. But i don't have to worry about that one anymore - i have given up on the dummy thing - she just wont take it. Hates the taste of glyserine as well. And the spirits is put away - don't need that. Guilt is an ugly thing - but i seem to convince myself that i'm not the only one making mistakes

I'm 2more months at home, starting 1 June, so i'll be BF for another month or so and then try putting her on the bottle (Nan), before i go to work i want to make sure she's off.
BF little Riaan for 6m, so had to express for 2 months at work, don't want to do that again - it's just to busy at work.
I'll be making my life a bit easier, she's been long enough on BM and i even think i'm one lucky mom - there's moms that can't BF.
My Pead asked me on what milk she is - when i said i'm still BF, he could not believe it.
Well now it's just hoping she'll take the bottle. Riaan was on bottle (BM) and BF from 2weeks - during the day it was bottle and @ night on the breast. (Very easy baby)

Anyway hope everyone has a great weekend and that the sick babies get better real soon!

Hi girls, just popping in to say have a nice weekend! Chris hope your darlings get better asap. Happy 4 months to all the 4 month babes. Our babes are fine- quite awake during the day, smiling and looking at their books/baby gym etc. They're enjoying their music but dont enjoy tummy time very much. Lizelle guilt is part and parcel of motherhood- feel guilty cos i couldn't bf due to being in icu for almost 2w? I know its ridiculous but we just want to do what's best for our babies. Maryke hope babies will start drinking better- i get my difficult days but them the next d is usually better. I fine i struggle when my energy is low.vix congrats on the kitchen.

Binks- Thanks:-) And it helps to have such a nice supprt structure in place. Hope he makes dinner so when you get home you can just relax

MommyN- Man I had a leaking issue AGAIN this afternoon! When I was trying to put bubs to bed! I am fed up and want to email them again, I wont accept it.

Suhaila- What is a dream baby spoon???? Which Cerelac are you using? and please can you set up a ticker (makes it easier for us new moomies to see your family)... how old is your little one?

Been trying to read/reply but not too much luck.

Alessadnro went yesterday and today for physio on his chest, going again tmorrow and taking Alexia with. He was tested positive for the RSV flu virus and Alexia has it too and Athena will more the likely get it as it is highly contagious, she is already coughing. If its not a runny nose, runny tummy, vomit, then i dunno. Poor babies.

Ladies, it is going around so just watch your kids.

Maryke, the formula is 150xchilds weight - divided by how many bottles, or just take the 150xweight to see how much he should be drinking in a day.

Gotta go, all are awake, 2 complaining
